Washroom deep cleaning in District 2 — riverside apartments, villas, cafés and offices

A District 2 address now belongs to one of three wards, An Khanh, Binh Trung or Cat Lai. Wards are the local administrative units that replaced the city's districts on 1 July 2025 under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15. A lease that still shows the old address is fine for booking.

From our office at 72 Nguyen Co Thach, in the Sala urban area, we survey and schedule regularly in An Khanh and Binh Trung between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, seven days a week. For homes and premises in Cat Lai, contact us first to confirm a time slot.

An Khanh ward

Thao Dien, Thu Thiem, Sala and part of An Phu: apartments in the Sala towers, Empire City, The Metropole Thu Thiem, Masteri Thao Dien and Xi Riverview Palace; the Saroma villas and Thao Dien's compounds; Thao Dien townhouses that now house cafés and small offices.

Binh Trung ward

Diamond Island, Estella Heights, Lakeview City, Palm City and the SOHO townhouses of The Global City.

The city government portal puts average relative humidity at about 79.5% over the year and about 80% in the rainy season, May to November. In a riverside apartment kept closed with the aircon running for hours, damp has few ways out, and bathroom grout is the first place to darken and smell. In compact apartments such as those at Masteri Thao Dien, the bathroom is small and poorly ventilated, so soap scum builds steadily on shower glass, grout and shower heads.

Daily cleaning keeps a bathroom tidy and dry. After a few weeks the things a cloth cannot remove begin to show: white scale on taps and glass, discoloured grout, staining under the toilet rim, drain grates holding hair and soap residue. A deep clean is a visit set aside for those, with a descaler suited to each material, grout brushes and enough contact time for the products to work. It complements your daily cleaning and does not replace it.

Villas in Thao Dien and Saroma are spread over several floors, with a bathroom on each, and natural stone is common. The work is on a different scale from an apartment, so an Up specialist, the UpClean staff member who does the work, carries out a survey first, and the quote names each room and each material that needs care.

Marble and limestone

Never treated with acidic descalers. Each product is tested on a hidden corner before it is used on stone, glass or plated fittings. Grinding and polishing stone belong to our Stone floor polishing service.

Chrome and steel fittings

Hard-water deposits are softened with a descaler and wiped away. Plating that is already flaking is photographed before we start.

Furnished rentals

Around Thao Dien and An Phu, homes change hands with each lease. The gap between two leases is a convenient time to do every bathroom, and the Up Report, our photo record of the visit, can be filed with the handover papers.

In Thao Dien, many townhouses in the lanes and along the main streets are now cafés, showrooms or small offices; Sala, Thu Thiem and The Global City have rows of shophouses with a business at street level and a home above. Washrooms there are shared by many people in a day. We deep clean them as a one-off or on a monthly or quarterly cycle, alongside the daily cleaner's work.

Hours

Outside your customer hours, between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM: early morning, evening or a closed day. The schedule allows drying time, so the washroom is ready before you open.

The same specialist whenever the schedule allows, with name and photo sent before each visit.

What we do not supply

Paper, soap or air fresheners; daily cleaning staff; clinical waste collection or instrument sterilisation in healthcare premises.

Recurring care

Washrooms are usually the first item on a recurring care schedule, with aircon maintenance, chair and carpet cleaning and a quarterly deep clean.

The scope for your address is written in the quote. Work runs from the top down: extractor fan, walls, glass screens, fittings, grout, floor and drains, with odour treatment last, once the residue has gone.

Grout

Scrubbed with dedicated brushes, with surface stains and mould treated. Whitening and sealing grout is our Tile & grout cleaning service, quoted separately. Cracked or missing grout needs regrouting, which we do not do; we photograph it.

Toilets and urinals

Under the rim, around the base, the seat hinges and the floor beside them, where urine residue causes most of the smell.

Glass and mirrors

Water marks and soap scum are removed. Glass etched by hard water over many years may not return to full clarity, and we say so at the survey.

Floor drains and plumbing

Covers and grates are lifted, hair and residue removed and the part reachable by hand cleaned. We do not unblock toilets or pipes, empty septic tanks, repair traps, seals, taps or cisterns, waterproof or re-tile; faults we notice go into the Up Report.

There is no listed rate, because one apartment bathroom in Sala and a multi-cubicle washroom in a business are very different amounts of work. We look at photos or visit, free of charge, then send a fixed written quote with the scope, the expected duration and anything out of scope. Nothing is added afterwards without your agreement.

The one listed reference is on our Disinfection & odour removal price list: a bathroom odour check and deodorising clean at 450,000 VND per room, with a minimum of 800,000 VND per visit. On that item, two bathrooms in one apartment come to 900,000 VND, and a single room is charged the 800,000 VND minimum. It is narrower than a deep clean: the toilet base, grout, shower-screen joints and drain covers, then odour treatment. Full descaling of glass and fittings, and multi-cubicle washrooms, fall outside it and are priced in your fixed quote.

• What shapes the quote: the number of rooms and cubicles, the tiled area, the level of scale, the surface materials and the time slot.
• Businesses on a cycle are quoted per visit, set out in the proposed schedule.

English

Enquiries, quotes, booking confirmations and the Up Report can all be in English. Tell us when booking if you want an English-speaking specialist in the home; if we cannot arrange one, we say so in advance and support the visit by phone or message.

Building registration

Most District 2 apartment buildings want outside staff registered with building management beforehand, ID shown at the lobby and the service lift used. We send your specialist's name and photo so that you can register.

If you are out

You do not need to be home. A key can be left with building management, reception or family; only the assigned specialist handles it and keys are never copied. For a smart lock we recommend a temporary code, and the walk-through can be done by video call.

Payment

After the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash. Invoices are issued on request under Vietnamese regulations, for individuals and companies.

Frequency depends on how many people use the room and how hard the water is. Homes: quarterly or twice a year, often with a home deep clean. Offices: monthly or quarterly. Clinics, spas, salons and gyms: monthly.

• Before the visit, put away toiletries, cosmetics and towels; tell us what your stone and fittings are made of if you know, and about any leak, slow drain or loose fitting.
• Afterwards the room needs time to air and dry before normal use.
