Cleaning rubber gym flooring without damaging it
Rubber flooring is textured and porous, so it holds dust, chalk and sweat. A soaking-wet mop only pushes dirty water into the seams, where it causes odour and loosens adhesive.
- Vacuum thoroughly first, especially along walls, rack feet and seams.
- Damp-mop with a neutral solution; no solvents, harsh degreasers or polishes that make rubber brittle or slippery.
- Periodically machine-scrub with a soft brush and extract the dirty water straight away.
- Let the floor dry fully before reopening the zone.
- Rubber tiles and rolls
- Machine scrubbing is quoted after a survey, as texture and adhesive condition vary.
- Carpeted areas
- Synthetic carpet 35,000 VND per m², minimum 350,000 VND per visit, cleaned on site by spray extraction. Rubber and foam mats are wiped, not washed.
