Who actually carries out the treatment?+
In Vietnam, pest control using chemicals may only be provided by licensed operators, so treatment is performed by our licensed partner. UpClean is your point of contact, supervises the work to the Up Standard and handles the survey, scheduling, cleaning and reporting. You are welcome to ask for the partner's details and licence before work begins.
Is it safe for children and pets?+
Our partner uses only products approved for use in Vietnam, at the recommended dosage. Before treatment, you are told which areas will be treated, how long to stay out and any precautions for children, pets or aquariums.
How long does termite treatment take?+
It depends on the method. Spot treatment can be completed in one visit; baiting takes several weeks of monitoring until the colony is no longer active. The schedule is set out in your quote.
Do we need to leave the house?+
It depends on the method. For space spraying, you will need to stay out of the area for the time advised in advance; for baiting or spot treatment, you usually only need to avoid the area being worked on.
Will you clean up afterwards?+
Yes. Your Up specialist cleans food-contact surfaces, floors and living areas as the partner advises, while leaving residual treatments and bait stations in place so they keep working.
Are follow-up visits included?+
The follow-up schedule and any warranty for your treatment plan are set out in your quote. We will remind you of each visit and record the findings in your Up Report.
