Uniform rental · Pilot programme
Uniform rental with scheduled laundering
Nothing to buy, nothing to wash and no issuing to manage. UpClean supplies uniforms sized for each wearer, collects worn garments and delivers clean ones on a fixed weekly schedule, with one point of contact.
Pilot stage
The programme is in its pilot stage and takes a limited number of customers. Whether we can serve your site, and the start date, are confirmed in your quote.
How the programme works
From the survey to a weekly rhythm
These six steps are how the programme is designed for its pilot stage. The number of sets, the delivery schedule and the wash standard for each site are set out in the quote and contract.
01
Survey and sizing
An Up specialist visits your site and notes the number of wearers by department, your shifts and your hygiene requirements. Once you accept the quote, each person tries a sample set for size at the workplace.
02
Styles, names and logo
You choose the style, colour and fabric that suit the work; your logo and each wearer's name or code are embroidered or printed on every garment.
03
Sets issued per wearer
The number of sets per person follows how often garments are changed each week and how often we deliver, with a reserve, so there is always a clean set between deliveries.
04
Weekly collection and delivery
On a fixed weekly schedule, UpClean collects worn garments and delivers clean ones to an agreed point on your site. As the programme is designed, every garment carries a barcode label and is counted out and back in.
05
Repairs and replacements
Damaged garments are repaired or replaced as the contract provides; the contract distinguishes normal wear from garments lost or damaged in use.
06
Periodic report
Each period you receive a reconciliation of garments delivered, collected and in repair, together with any changes in wearers, as the basis for payment.
About laundering during the pilot
Washing and finishing are carried out at a partner industrial laundry, to standards agreed in your contract. UpClean does not yet operate a laundry of its own. UpClean surveys, coordinates collection and delivery, checks the count and remains accountable to you under the contract.
The pilot route is planned for the east of Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring industrial parks; whether we can serve your location is confirmed at the survey.
Two ways to join
Full rental, or laundering only
Choose the option that fits where your business is today. Both run on a fixed weekly schedule and are quoted in writing after the survey.
Option 1
Full rental
UpClean supplies the uniforms and launders them
- Uniforms supplied by UpClean and sized for each wearer
- Names and your logo embroidered or printed
- Worn garments collected and clean ones delivered on a fixed weekly schedule
- Repairs and replacements as the contract provides
- Wearer list updated for joiners, leavers and size changes
Suits a business with no uniforms yet, or one that wants to stop buying and managing them.
Option 2
Laundering only
For the uniforms you already own
- The uniforms remain your property
- Fabric and suitability for industrial laundering are assessed at the survey
- Worn garments collected and clean ones delivered on a fixed weekly schedule
- Counted out and back in, as the programme is designed
- The scope of repairs is agreed in the contract
Suits a business that has already invested in uniforms and only needs the laundering taken off site.
By industry
Each industry, its own garments and rhythm
Garments and hygiene expectations differ with the work. The exact scope for your site is settled at the survey and written into the quote.
- Food & beverage
- Pharmaceutical (non-sterile areas)
- Engineering & electronics
- Restaurants, hotels & kitchens
- Spas & aesthetics
- Clinics & dental practices
- Offices, showrooms, reception & security
- Garages & car dealerships
Food & beverage
Coats or coveralls, trousers and hair covers for processing and packing areas. Food sites usually need garments changed daily, kept apart from personal laundry and wrapped for transport. Styles, zone colours and wash standards are agreed in line with your own food safety system.
Pharmaceutical (non-sterile areas)
Coats, trousers and caps for warehouses, secondary packing, maintenance and other non-classified areas. Your quality system's requirements for changing, zoning and records are reviewed at the survey; we take on only what we can meet and state the scope in the quote. Garments for sterile areas and cleanrooms are not part of the programme.
Engineering & electronics
Cotton-blend shirts and trousers or coveralls for machining, assembly and warehouse teams; coats for electronics assembly in non-classified areas. Oil-soiled garments need to be washed separately; anti-static garments are considered case by case at the survey.
Restaurants, hotels & kitchens
Chef jackets, aprons and uniforms for service, reception and housekeeping. Kitchens usually need a daily change; front-of-house teams need pressed, consistent uniforms and the right size to hand when the team changes.
Spas & aesthetics
Uniforms for therapists, consultants and reception. Light colours show oil and cosmetic marks readily; clean, odour-free uniforms are part of the impression you make from the front desk.
Clinics & dental practices
Non-sterile uniforms only: scrubs, white coats and uniforms for nursing and reception staff. Sterile and surgical linen, and items soiled with blood or body fluids, are not part of the programme; they remain within your own infection-control procedures.
Offices, showrooms, reception & security
Usually a tops-only programme: shirts, polo shirts and jackets for reception, sales and building security teams. Changes are less frequent than on a production floor; the focus is a consistent, well-kept appearance.
Garages & car dealerships
Coveralls or heavy-duty workwear for workshop technicians; shirts and polo shirts for service advisers and sales staff. Oil-soiled garments are hard to wash at home and need to be laundered separately from other groups.
Not accepted at this stage
The items below call for specialist facilities and procedures. We do not take them on during the pilot, and say so plainly so that you can go to the right specialist.
- Cleanroom garments to ISO 14644
- Sterile and surgical linen
- Garments contaminated with hazardous chemicals
How pricing works
Priced per wearer per week, or per wash
The fee is calculated per wearer per week, or per wash, depending on how you join. We have not published a price list for the pilot programme; every site receives a written quote after its survey.
What determines the price
Number of wearers
The total, and the split by department and shift.
Sets per wearer
Driven by changes per week and deliveries per week, with a reserve.
Fabric and style
Cotton blend or heavy-duty, two-piece, coverall or tops only; standard or made to your design.
Frequency
Changes per week and deliveries per week.
Route distance
Where your site lies in relation to the programme's delivery route.
Embroidery and print
How many positions, and how names and logo appear on each garment.
The quote is itemised so that you can check it line by line; nothing applies until you have agreed to it in writing.
Contract principles
Clear terms before you sign
We apply these principles to uniform contracts. The term, notice period and other detailed clauses are set out in the contract itself for you to read before signing.
- The price is fixed by a written quote; nothing is added without your agreement.
- Any change to scope, frequency or cost needs your written agreement.
- No automatic renewal without your confirmation.
- How lost and damaged garments are handled is set out in the contract itself.
- For garments made to your own colours or design, the residual value is stated in the contract itself.
- A VAT invoice for every billing period.
Before you sign
What you receive in writing
- A written quote
- Itemised, showing how it is calculated per wearer per week or per wash.
- The garment schedule
- Garment types, sets per wearer and the proposed delivery rhythm for each department.
- Availability and start date
- Confirmed in the quote itself, because the programme takes a limited number of customers.
- The draft contract
- You have time to read and discuss every clause before signing.

A good fit when
Buy and wash yourselves
The team is stable, garment hygiene demands are modest and someone already looks after it.
Rental with laundering
You need clean, consistent uniforms on schedule, are audited on hygiene, or want less to manage.
A complementary programme
Recurring care for business premises
Uniforms look after how your team appears; recurring care looks after the premises: aircon, washrooms, chairs, carpets and quarterly deep cleans on one fixed schedule, with an Up Report after every visit.
Frequently asked questions
Uniform rental: your questions
What is UpClean's uniform rental and laundering service?+
A programme in which UpClean supplies uniforms sized for each wearer, collects worn garments and delivers clean ones on a fixed weekly schedule, and repairs or replaces them as the contract provides. Your business has nothing to buy, wash or issue. The programme is in its pilot stage and takes a limited number of customers.
What does the pilot stage mean for us?+
We are taking a limited number of customers at this stage. After the survey we confirm whether we can serve your site; availability and the start date are written into the quote. If we cannot serve you yet, we say so plainly so that you can make other arrangements.
Where are the uniforms laundered?+
During the pilot, washing and finishing are carried out at a partner industrial laundry, to standards agreed in your contract. UpClean does not yet operate a laundry of its own. UpClean surveys, coordinates collection and delivery, checks the count and remains accountable to you under the contract.
How is the price calculated?+
Per wearer per week, or per wash, depending on how you join. The fee depends on the number of wearers, sets per wearer, fabric, how often garments are changed and delivered, route distance and any embroidery or printing. We have not published a price list for the programme; you receive a written quote after the survey.
We already own uniforms. Can we still join?+
Yes. Choose laundering only: the uniforms remain your property, and UpClean collects worn garments and delivers clean ones on a fixed weekly schedule. Their fabric and suitability for industrial laundering are assessed at the survey.
What happens if a garment is lost or damaged?+
The contract sets out each case: normal wear, repairs, and garments lost or damaged in use. For garments made to your own colours or design, the residual value is also stated in the contract, so you know in advance.
Do you take cleanroom garments or sterile linen?+
Not at this stage. We do not accept cleanroom garments to ISO 14644, sterile or surgical linen, or garments contaminated with hazardous chemicals. For clinics and dental practices, the programme covers non-sterile staff uniforms only.
Which areas do you cover?+
The pilot route is planned for the east of Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring industrial parks. Whether we can serve your specific location is confirmed at the survey.
How long is the contract and how do we end it?+
The term, notice period and how the contract ends are set out in the contract, which you read and discuss before signing. Our principles: a price fixed by a written quote, changes only with your written agreement, and no automatic renewal without your confirmation.
Is the survey free, and are we committed afterwards?+
The survey is free of charge and by appointment. Afterwards you receive a proposed programme and a written quote, and decide for yourself whether to go ahead.
