Where District 2 is now, and where we clean bedding
Ho Chi Minh City no longer has districts. Since 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the former District 2 has been three wards, the local units that replaced districts: An Khanh, Binh Trung and Cat Lai. The old An Phu ward was divided between the first two. The name District 2 is still in everyday use, and we use it too.
Our office is at 72 Nguyen Co Thach, in the Sala urban area of An Khanh ward. Up specialists, our trained and identity-verified cleaners, work in An Khanh and Binh Trung every day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, weekends included.

Why pillows and duvets in riverside bedrooms dry slowly and turn musty
Relative humidity in Ho Chi Minh City averages about 79.5% over the year, according to the city government portal, and stays near 80% through the rainy season from May to November. Many apartments in Thao Dien, Thu Thiem and Sala face the Saigon River through large glass walls, and the windows stay shut for hours while the aircon runs. Bedding in those rooms takes in sweat every night and seldom sees the sun.
Sheets and pillowcases go in the wash every week. Pillow inners, duvet inners and mattress protectors do not: they are bulky, the filling clumps when soaked, and in an apartment with little sun they dry slowly and can smell if the centre stays damp. Meanwhile sweat, skin flakes, fine dust and dust mites build up in the filling. Book when you notice any of these:
- A pillow that smells of sweat even in a fresh pillowcase.
- Inners that have yellowed, or carry dried water or drink marks.
- The rainy season is about to start, or relatives are coming to stay.
What a visit looks like in an apartment, a villa or a furnished rental
Everything is done in the bedroom and nothing leaves your home. The specialist puts on shoe covers, lays a work sheet beside the bed and photographs each item before taking off its cover. Inners are vacuumed on both sides in overlapping passes, with extra care along seams and at corners, where fine dust collects most.
Where the care label allows steam, the steam head is kept moving so that moisture does not go deep. Stains are worked from the edge towards the centre and blotted with a clean cloth, and the bedding is then spread out somewhere airy. While it dries, the bed frame, the headboard and the floor under the bed within reach are vacuumed. The visit ends when the bed is made up with the clean sheets you have set out.
- One- to three-bedroom apartments
- The mattress and bed frame are covered while the inners are cleaned beside the bed. If you ask, the sheets just taken off are washed in your own machine, which many District 2 apartments keep on a service balcony or in a cupboard beside the kitchen.
- Villas in Thao Dien and Saroma
- Several floors, several bedrooms and often a guest room. Rooms are done one after another, and each bed is made up before the next is started.
- Furnished rentals
- Many apartments around Thao Dien and An Phu are let furnished. If pillows and duvets come with the home, have them cleaned between two tenancies. The Up Report, the photo report we send by WhatsApp or Zalo after every visit, can be filed with the handover record.
Which pillows and duvets can be cleaned at home
Water, heat and suction act differently on each filling, so the care label is read first. For an item with no label, or one marked dry-clean only, the specialist takes the most cautious route or recommends a dry cleaner.
- Synthetic filling
- Several vacuum passes, steam, spot treatment of stains, then airing until dry.
- Memory foam and latex pillows
- No soaking and no direct steam on the core. It is vacuumed, its casing wiped and the removable pillowcase washed.
- Down
- A light vacuum over the casing and spot cleaning with very little moisture; the down itself stays dry.
- Silk and wool duvets
- A light vacuum and nothing more: steam and scrubbing are ruled out. A deeper clean is a dry cleaner's job.
- Mattress protectors
- Plain fabric goes in the machine as its label says; a waterproof one needs a gentle wash and low-heat drying.
- Bead, buckwheat-hull and herbal pillows
- The filling has to stay dry, so only the surface is vacuumed and the pillowcase is washed on its own.
- Electric blankets and heated pads
- Wiring and a controller sit inside, so we use neither steam nor water.
What bedding cleaning costs in District 2, with examples
Vacuuming, steaming and deodorising at home is priced per item: 70,000 VND for a pillow, 150,000 VND for a single duvet, 200,000 VND for a double duvet and 80,000 VND for a mattress protector. A full set for one bed, meaning two pillows, one duvet and one protector, is 390,000 VND. The minimum per visit is 390,000 VND, and bedding booked together with mattress cleaning is 20% off.
Send photos of the bedding and its care labels and you receive an all-inclusive price in writing that lists beds, items and tasks. Four things shape it: the number of beds and items; the material, since down, silk and memory foam take more care and time than synthetic filling; the condition, such as old sweat stains or a damp smell; and any extra task, such as washing sheets in your machine. Nothing is added unless you approve it in writing.

- One bed, full set: 390,000 VND.
- Four pillows only
- 4 × 70,000 VND = 280,000 VND, which is below the minimum, so the visit is 390,000 VND.
- Two-bedroom apartment in Sala
- Two beds, one set each: 780,000 VND.
- Three-bedroom apartment in Thao Dien
- Three sets and two extra pillows in the main bedroom: 1,310,000 VND.
- Four-bedroom villa, booked with mattress cleaning
- Four sets come to 1,560,000 VND; with 20% off, the bedding is 1,248,000 VND. The mattresses are charged from the mattress price list.
Building registration, drying time, and adding the mattress or sofa
Many District 2 apartment buildings ask residents to register outside staff with building management beforehand, check ID at the lobby and allow work only at set hours. Rules differ between buildings, so we ask when you book and send the specialist's name, photo and contact number in advance.
Drying time depends on the thickness of the item, its material and how well the room is aired, and the specialist gives a time for each item at handover. For an afternoon visit, keep spare pillows and a duvet for that night.
A mattress shares the bed with the bedding and soils along with it. If yours is also due, one visit leaves the whole bed evenly clean and takes 20% off the bedding. A sofa can go into the same appointment, priced separately.

How to book, with notes for international residents
- Send photos of the pillows, duvets and protectors with their care labels, and the number of beds, through our Quote page or to 0968 726 135 on WhatsApp or Zalo.
- You receive the price in writing and choose a time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Before the visit, set out clean sheets and tell us about any item that needs particular care.
- After the visit you receive the Up Report and pay by bank transfer or cash once you have checked the work.
- English
- Enquiries, quotes, booking confirmations and the Up Report can all be in English. For a specialist who speaks English in your home, note it when you book; if we cannot arrange one, we tell you in advance and support you by phone or message.
- If you are out
- A key can be left with building management, reception or family; only the assigned specialist handles it, the times are recorded and keys are never copied. The final check can be done by video call.
- If something falls short
- Reply to the Up Report within 48 hours and any item within the agreed scope is redone free of charge.
