Where District 2 is now, and where we take Tết bookings
District 2 is today a familiar name only. On 1 July 2025, Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 replaced it with three wards, the city's local administrative units: An Khanh, Binh Trung and Cat Lai. Nothing changes for booking; a development name, a street or plain District 2 is enough.
Our office is at 72 Nguyen Co Thach in Sala. Tết cleaning is booked daily in An Khanh and Binh Trung, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM; in Cat Lai the time slot is confirmed when you contact us, above all in the busy weeks.
- An Khanh ward
- The old An Khanh, An Loi Dong, Thu Thiem, Thao Dien and part of An Phu: Masteri Thao Dien, Xi Riverview Palace, The Metropole Thu Thiem, Empire City and the Sala towers; the Thao Dien villas and compounds, the Saroma villas and SariTown.
- Binh Trung ward
- Binh Trung Dong, Binh Trung Tay and the rest of An Phu: The Global City with its SOHO townhouses, Diamond Island, Estella Heights, Palm City, Lakeview City.
- Cat Lai ward
- The former Thanh My Loi and Cat Lai, with Vista Verde and Feliz en Vista; time slot confirmed first.
When Tết 2027 falls, and the order to clean in
The first day of Tết is Saturday, 6 February 2027; New Year's Eve is the evening of Friday, 5 February. Cleaning the whole home beforehand is a long-standing habit in Vietnamese families. Work from the jobs that raise dust and use water to the finishing jobs, so that nothing clean is dirtied again.
Two local points belong in your plan. Weekend slots go first, yet some District 2 buildings restrict outside staff on Saturdays and Sundays, so a weekday is often easier. And a home with many items may be split into two visits in the order below; the expected duration is stated in the quote.

River-facing apartments in Thu Thiem, Sala and Thao Dien
Apartments here often open onto the Saigon River through large glass walls, while Thu Thiem, Sala and The Global City still have buildings under construction. All year, fine site dust slips through door gaps and packs into the tracks of balcony sliding doors; in the rainy season, driven rain turns it into streaks on glass and railings. By year-end, weekly cleaning no longer copes.
- Glass and door tracks
- Glass is cleaned indoors and within safe reach, with the door tracks, the inner side of the railing and the safety mesh. The outside of a high-rise needs a contractor that specialises in work at height.
- Large curtains
- They hold dust and cooking smells and are usually washed only once or twice a year. Take-down and re-hanging can be added.
- Aircon
- One- to three-bedroom apartments usually have 1–1.5 HP wall units in the bedrooms and a 2 HP unit in the living room. Each is cleaned at the listed price, with a free gas-pressure check.
- Kitchen and bathrooms
- Range hood, hob, outside of the cabinets, fridge, microwave, sink and wall tiles; limescale on glass screens, shower fittings, basin, toilet, grout and extractor fan.
Villas and townhouses on several floors
Thao Dien villas, the Saroma villas in Sala and the SOHO townhouses at The Global City spread a large floor area over several storeys, with stairs, balconies and roof terraces; villas often add natural stone floors and wide glazing. An Up specialist, a member of our own trained staff, surveys the house first and lists the work floor by floor before the quote is sent. The deep clean is priced on total usable floor area.
- Two visits: aircon, curtains, sofas, mattresses and rugs first; the deep clean second, from the top floor down.
- Villas and townhouses in Thao Dien and Sala often use floor-standing units and ducted systems, which are looked at before the price is fixed.
- Stone floors are only wiped with a gentle product made for stone. Polishing is a separate service with its own survey; mention it early if you want it done before Tết.
- Glass and decorative lights are cleaned only where the specialist can stand securely and reach safely.
What Tết cleaning costs in District 2
The cost is the sum of the listed prices of the items you choose; there is no separate Tết price and no increase before the holiday. The one discount is 10% off each aircon unit from unit 3 onwards in the same visit. The examples use assumed floor areas and equipment, with each item's minimum and the aircon discount applied. The official all-inclusive quote is sent in writing once you confirm the area and the items, and changes only with your written agreement.

The family altar, and how to prepare
Many homes have a family altar. The specialists clean the walls, floor and shelves around it; the altar and the objects on it are moved or cleaned only with your consent and in the way you direct. You do not need to move large furniture: positions are photographed and everything goes back.
- Put jewellery, documents, cash and valuables away.
- Sort what to keep and what to discard beforehand; the specialists never throw anything away themselves.
- Point out what needs care: paintings, ceramics, plants, electronics.
- Keep water and electricity on. Tools, machines and products come with the specialists.
- Keep children and pets in a separate room while machines and products are in use.
- Finish painting, repairs or furniture installation before the deep clean.
International residents: away for the holiday, English, building rules
Thao Dien and An Phu are home to many international families; Tuoi Tre newspaper reported nearly 6,000 foreign residents of 102 nationalities in Thao Dien in 2020. Enquiries, quotes, booking confirmations and the Up Report, the before-and-after photo record sent after each visit, can all be in English. If you want a specialist who speaks English in your home, note it when booking; if we cannot arrange one, we say so in advance and support by phone or message.
- If you travel over Tết
- It helps to have someone home at the start and at the walk-through. If nobody can be, agree with us beforehand how the key and access card are handed over; the walk-through can be by video call.
- Building rules
- Most District 2 apartment buildings want outside staff registered in advance, ID shown in the lobby and the service lift used, within set hours. We send the specialists' names and photos; register as soon as the date is fixed.

After Tết, changing a booking, and what we stand behind
After a holiday full of guests many households want one more visit; you can reserve it with the Tết clean, and the date is confirmed against the post-Tết schedule. Our hours during the public holiday itself are announced separately. For upkeep through the year there is Up Home, regular house cleaning at 130,000 VND per hour, minimum 3 hours.
Changing or cancelling is free with 24 hours' notice; inside 24 hours the fee is 30%. Payment follows the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash. An item that falls short is redone free within 48 hours of the Up Report, and aircon cleaning carries a 90-day warranty under our policy.
