Why UpClean
What makes our concrete floor polishing different?
See it before you commit
The test patch shows the grind level and sheen on your own floor first.
Dust kept under control
Grinders run with dust extraction and the work area is sealed off.
Honest about limits
Cracks, weak concrete and old coatings are flagged at the survey; we don't promise what the slab can't deliver.
Fixed price, no surprises
Every step and cost is agreed in advance and only changes with your written approval.

Frequently asked questions
Concrete floor polishing: your questions
Is concrete grinding dusty?+
We use grinders connected to dust extraction and seal off the work area to keep dust from spreading. The area is cleaned at the end of each session.
Can a cracked floor be polished?+
Yes, but grinding does not close cracks. Small cracks can be filled first and usually remain visible; large cracks or signs of settlement should be assessed by a structural engineer first.
Can you remove an epoxy coating and polish the concrete underneath?+
In many cases, yes. The coating must be stripped first, and the effort depends on its thickness, adhesion and the condition of the slab, so we survey and test before quoting.
How soon can new concrete be polished?+
The concrete needs time to cure and gain strength; design strength is usually assessed at 28 days. Please confirm timing with your contractor or engineer.
Which finish should I choose?+
Matte suits garages and small warehouses, satin is popular for cafés, offices and homes, and gloss is often chosen for showrooms. You approve the sheen on a test patch first.
Do you restore terrazzo floors?+
Existing terrazzo is covered by our stone floor polishing service. This service is for concrete floors, including exposed-aggregate polished concrete.
Do you take on factories or large warehouses?+
Our focus is garages, showrooms, shophouses, offices, cafés, restaurants, homes and small warehouses. Factories and industrial sites are accepted after an on-site survey; see also our Factory cleaning page.
