Sofa cleaning in District 2 — Thao Dien, An Phu, Sala

Under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, effective 1 July 2025, the former District 2 is now three wards: An Khanh, Binh Trung and Cat Lai, with the old An Phu ward divided between An Khanh and Binh Trung. Estate agents and residents still say "District 2", so book using the name you know — we will translate it to the new ward.

From our office at 72 Nguyen Co Thach in Sala, we clean sofas in An Khanh and Binh Trung regularly, 07:00–20:00 every day of the week. Cat Lai is served once we have agreed a time slot with you.

An Khanh ward — regular service

Formed from Thu Thiem, An Loi Dong, Thao Dien, the old An Khanh ward and the rest of An Phu. Apartments such as Empire City, The Metropole Thu Thiem, Masteri Thao Dien, Xi Riverview Palace and Masteri An Phu; villas and townhouses including Saroma and SariTown in Sala and the Thao Dien villa compounds.

Binh Trung ward — regular service

Formed from Binh Trung Dong, Binh Trung Tay and part of An Phu. Diamond Island (Dao Kim Cuong), The Global City with its handed-over SOHO townhouses, Lakeview City, Palm City and Estella Heights.

Cat Lai ward — by arrangement

The former Thanh My Loi and Cat Lai, home to Vista Verde and Feliz en Vista.

Many apartments in Thu Thiem, Thao Dien and Sala have floor-to-ceiling glass facing the Saigon River, and the sofa usually sits right by it for the view. Hours of direct sun fade fabric unevenly and dry out leather, which gradually loses its suppleness and natural sheen.

Then the rains arrive — May to November, with relative humidity around 80% according to the Ho Chi Minh City government portal. Cushion fillings absorb moisture, microfibre starts to smell, and armrests and headrests darken with sweat and skin oils. Alternating harsh sun and high humidity means a riverside sofa needs more care than it appears to.

Proper cleaning lifts dust, body oils and damp odours, but it cannot restore colour already bleached by the sun. Your Up specialist records this honestly in your Up Report, so you know exactly what to expect before and after.

Before starting, your Up specialist checks the upholstery, stitching and care label, tests for colour-fastness in a hidden spot, and only then chooses the solution. Each material follows its own Up Standard procedure to avoid colour bleeding, shrinkage or stiffening.

Fabric and microfibre

Deep vacuuming of the frame, crevices and underneath; spray extraction that lifts dirty water straight away; pile brushed back into line. Usually dry in 4–6 hours in a ventilated or air-conditioned room.

Genuine leather

Never washed with water. Cleaned with a dedicated leather solution, a soft-bristle brush and microfibre cloths, then conditioned to keep it supple and help prevent cracking; usable after about 30 minutes.

Suede, nubuck and peeling bonded leather

Assessed first; your specialist recommends an approach suited to the sofa's actual condition.

Zip-off cushion covers

Cleaned in place rather than machine-washed, to avoid shrinkage and loss of shape.

Ottomans and loose cushions

50,000 VND each, treated according to their own material.

Clean fabric sofas every 6 months; blot spills straight away with a clean cloth rather than rubbing.

Homes with dogs or cats

Hair is vacuumed in several passes from crevices and underneath; stains and odours are spot-treated. Please keep pets in another room until the sofa is dry.

No need to be home

Many clients leave a key with building management or family; the whole visit is recorded in your Up Report, sent by WhatsApp or Zalo.

Pricing is per seat and by material: 130,000 VND per fabric or microfibre seat, 160,000 VND per leather seat and 50,000 VND per ottoman or loose cushion, with a 390,000 VND minimum per visit. The examples below use our current price list; your final price is confirmed before booking.

• Seat count is confirmed with you from photos before booking; any change applies only with your written approval.

Sala villa — 3 + 2 + 1 leather suite, 2 ottomans and a 3-seat fabric sofa in the family room

6 × 160,000 VND + 2 × 50,000 VND + 3 × 130,000 VND = 1,450,000 VND.

Many District 2 buildings ask for contractors to be registered with management in advance, ID to be shown at the lobby and the service lift to be used for equipment. We send your specialist's name and photo beforehand; time spent on lobby formalities after an on-time arrival does not count as lateness.

Your sofa is cleaned where it stands — no dismantling, no transport. A three-seater takes about 60–90 minutes; fabric is usually dry in 4–6 hours, and leather is ready in about 30 minutes once the conditioner has absorbed.

• Wooden floors, rugs and skirting around the sofa are covered before the machine is set down.
• Dirty water is recovered by the machine and disposed of properly — never onto balconies or common areas.
• Draw the curtains while fabric dries so direct sun doesn't fall on damp upholstery, and avoid sitting on it or placing cushions back until it is dry.
• Between cleanings, draw sheer curtains in the harshest hours, keep air-conditioning from blowing straight onto leather, and vacuum crevices weekly.
