District 7 today: four wards, and where Tết bookings are taken
People still say they live in District 7, although since 1 July 2025 Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 has replaced the district with four wards, the city's local administrative units: Tan My, Tan Hung, Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan. Phu My Hung, 433 hectares, belongs to Tan My and Tan Hung. To book, the name of your area, tower or street number is enough.
Tan My and Tan Hung are scheduled regularly, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. Bookings are also taken in Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan, with the time slot confirmed on booking.

Tết in brief: the dates, when to book, what to do first
New Year's Eve falls on the evening of Friday, 5 February 2027, and the first day of the new lunar year on the Saturday. Families traditionally clean the whole house beforehand, so demand climbs in the final weeks while cleaning teams have only so many hours. To choose your own day, particularly a weekend or a long list of items, get in touch in December 2026 or early January 2027.
- Three to four weeks ahead: aircon cleaning, then curtains, sofas, mattresses and rugs, the jobs that raise dust, use water and need drying time.
- Two weeks ahead: the household empties cupboards, sorts what is no longer used and tidies the storeroom and balcony; the specialist wipes down once the sorting is done.
- The final week: the deep clean of the whole home, so that it still looks fresh on the day.
- Painting, new curtains or new furniture should be finished before the deep clean.
Homes lived in for years: what a pre-Tết clean reaches
Before the holiday most households put their effort into floors, glass and the kitchen, the things in plain sight. Phu My Hung has been settled for many years, and what matters more here are the layers that build so slowly nobody sees them: grease thickening on the kitchen wall tiles, limescale dulling the shower glass, sand deep in the balcony door tracks. With the doors shut and the aircon on for a full house, those hidden places decide how fresh the home feels.
- Aircon indoor units and filters: old dust makes a unit cool poorly and the air smell.
- Curtains: they take in dust and cooking smells, yet are usually washed once or twice a year.
- Sofas and mattresses, where guests sit and children play.
- The range hood, the tops of the kitchen cabinets, the gap between fridge and wall.
- Sliding-door tracks, bathroom grout, the extractor fan, switches and door handles.
Villas and townhouses: living rooms, guest rooms, stone floors, the altar
The low-rise villas and townhouses of Phu My Hung, such as My Kim, My Thai and Nam Vien, have several storeys, stairs, wide glazing and balconies, and many have halls and living rooms floored in marble or granite. Tết is when these houses receive grandparents and relatives, so the plan usually centres on the living room and the rooms where people will stay.
- Guest rooms and ground-floor bedrooms
- Closed for days, they turn musty. Have the aircon of a little-used room cleaned before relatives arrive, and mattresses and curtains done in the first round so that they dry in time.
- Living and family rooms
- Often a multi-piece leather suite with ottomans, a fabric sofa in the family room and floor-standing or cassette aircon. Upholstery and aircon come first; floors, skirting, the TV unit and decorative lights within safe reach wait for the deep clean.
- Marble and granite floors
- Vacuumed and wiped with a gentle product made for stone. Honing and polishing to restore the shine is a specialist service with its own survey and quote.
- The altar area
- Many Vietnamese homes keep a family altar. The specialists clean the walls, floor and shelves around it; the altar and ritual objects are left alone unless you consent and show how it should be done.
Apartments in Sunrise City, Midtown and Riviera Point: one visit or two
That depends on floor area and the number of items. The expected duration is written in the quote, and an apartment with many items may be split into two visits: upholstery and aircon first, the deep clean second, which gives curtains and sofas time to dry. In Sunrise City, units in the South and Central clusters have been in use for many years; kitchen, bathrooms and aircon deserve priority there.
- Aircon: have every unit done in the same visit and each one from unit 3 onwards is 10% off; a gas-pressure check is free every time.
- Glass: cleaned indoors and within safe reach, with the balcony floor, the inner side of the railing and the sliding doors. The outside of a high-rise is not part of the service.
- Short of time: put the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, window glass and aircon first.
What Tết cleaning costs in District 7
There is no Tết price list. The cost is the listed price of each item you choose, added together, and nothing is added to the all-inclusive quote without your agreement. The four examples are illustrations on assumed floor areas and equipment; each item's minimum charge and the 10% aircon discount from unit 3 are already included. A guest-room mattress of 1.6 m adds 450,000 VND.

Building management, guarded estates and how to prepare
Many District 7 towers ask residents to register outside staff beforehand, check ID in the lobby and assign a service lift and working hours, and some restrict construction-type work at weekends; many villa and townhouse estates have guards who log visitors. We ask about your rules when you book and send the specialists' names and photos, with a reminder the day before.
- Put jewellery, documents, cash and valuables away, and sort beforehand what you want thrown out; the specialists discard nothing on their own.
- Tell us what needs particular care: paintings, ceramics, plants, electronics.
- Keep water and electricity on, and show where to park and how to bring equipment in. Tools, machines and products are brought by the specialists.
- Agree at home which rooms are done first; keep children and pets in a separate room while machines and products are in use.
- If you will be away, tell us beforehand how the key and access card will be handed over.
International residents: English, the checklist guide, and our commitments
