Thao Dien and An Khanh ward: where Tết bookings are taken
Thao Dien is no longer a ward on paper. Since 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the former Thao Dien ward belongs to An Khanh ward (wards are the city's local administrative units, which replaced districts), the same ward as our office at 72 Nguyen Co Thach in Sala. Older documents remain valid, so use whichever address you have.
Bookings run from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day, for homes on Xuan Thuy, Quoc Huong, Nguyen Van Huong and Thao Dien streets and along Vo Nguyen Giap near the metro station.

The holiday in brief: dates, booking and the order of work
The eve of Tết is Friday evening, 5 February 2027, and the lunar year opens the next morning, a Saturday. Cleaning the whole house beforehand is a long-standing custom, which is why requests climb in the closing weeks while each cleaning team has a fixed number of hours; Saturdays and Sundays are taken first. If you plan to travel over the holiday, have the deep clean done before you go.

Villas and compound houses: several floors and a garden
A Thao Dien villa is large, with stone and natural wood throughout, and its garden sends fallen leaves, pollen and fine soil onto the veranda and the stone paths. We look at such a house before quoting. The task list is drawn up storey by storey, enough Up specialists (UpClean's own trained staff) are assigned to finish on the day booked, and too long a list is divided in two.
- First visit: aircon and fabrics. Second visit: the deep clean, working downwards and ending on the ground floor.
- A ceiling cassette costs 550,000 VND at the listed price. When all units are cleaned in one visit, unit 3 and every unit after it is 10% cheaper, and gas pressure is measured at no charge.
- Stone is wiped with a neutral solution and a soft cloth. Polishing is another service: a survey, a small test patch, your approval, then the work.
- Verandas, balconies and roof terraces appear as their own lines. Tree pruning and pool cleaning are separate services.
- Compound guards show the team where to park; equipment is counted on the way in and again on the way out.
Apartment towers: what to know building by building
On glass, we clean the inner face and whatever can be reached safely; the outer face of a tower is work for a company that specialises in working at height. UpClean has no tie to the developers or management companies of these buildings.
- Masteri Thao Dien
- Compact apartments with open kitchens: grease on the upper cabinets and the range hood, a small bathroom, fine sand in the balcony door tracks and road dust on the balcony glass.
- The Ascent and Gateway Thao Dien
- The Ascent has 3.1 m ceilings and glass taller than 3 m; Gateway's windows stand 2.4–2.7 m high. Both mean a great deal of curtain, so put curtain cleaning in the first round. The upper edge of tall glass is cleaned only as far as an indoor ladder safely allows.
- The Nassim
- Marble takes a neutral solution and nothing else. A dry kitchen and a wet kitchen mean two sets of appliances, and in the private lift lobby we touch only what belongs to the apartment.
- Thao Dien Pearl
- Many apartments are over ten years old, so darkened grout and bathroom limescale need thorough work. The internal stairs and double-height space of a duplex are surveyed first.
What Tết cleaning costs in Thao Dien
Tết cleaning is simple addition: each item you pick is charged at its listed price, and that price does not move as the holiday approaches. Within one visit, aircon unit 3 and each later unit is 10% cheaper. The examples assume floor areas and equipment, with item minimums counted. Your real figure is written into a quote once we know your floor area and task list.

Before the visit, the family altar, and our commitments
Many Vietnamese homes have a family altar. The team dusts and wipes the wall, floor and shelving near it and leaves the altar itself alone unless you say otherwise and show how you want it done.
- Lock away jewellery, cash, documents and anything precious. Furniture stays put.
- Decide in advance what is to be thrown out; the team discards nothing on its own initiative.
- Get painting and repairs out of the way before the deep clean.
- While machines and products are in use, children and pets are better off in another room.
- A booking can be moved or cancelled without charge up to 24 hours ahead; after that the cancellation fee is 30%. Payment, by cash or bank transfer, follows the walk-through, our final check of the work with you.
- Tell us within 48 hours of receiving the Up Report if something is not right and it is redone at no cost. The aircon work has a 90-day warranty, as set out in our warranty policy.
International residents: away for the holiday, English, building rules
Nearly 6,000 foreigners of 102 nationalities lived in Thao Dien in 2020, according to Tuoi Tre newspaper, and homes rented to them mostly come furnished. You can deal with us in English throughout: the enquiry, the quote, the booking confirmation and the Up Report, the set of before-and-after photos you receive when the visit ends. Should you want an English-speaking specialist in the home, say so at booking. If we cannot arrange it, we tell you in advance and support by phone or message.
- Away over Tết
- Ideally someone is at home when the team arrives, to agree the list, and again for the walk-through at the end. Otherwise, let us know ahead where the key and the access card will be left. Working hours on the public holiday days are published separately.
- Reception desks and compound gates
- Plenty of buildings require the names of outside staff in advance. You get the specialists' names and photos when the booking is confirmed and a reminder one day ahead.
- Once the holiday is over
- You can hold a slot for a post-holiday clean when you book. Through the rest of the year, Up Home provides house cleaning by the hour: 130,000 VND an hour, 3 hours at least.
