Pool cleaning in District 7 — villa pools in Phu My Hung, one-off or regular

Since 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the city has used wards (its local administrative units) in place of districts. The former District 7 is Tan My, Tan Hung, Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan, and the 433-hectare township of Phu My Hung sits in the first two. Tell us the neighbourhood and house number, or the old address; both work.

Villa pools in Tan My and Tan Hung are scheduled regularly, any day between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. In Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan we confirm the slot before accepting.

Pools in apartment buildings

In the apartment towers, such as Sunrise City, Midtown and Riviera Point, any pool is shared by residents and run by building management. This page is about a family's own pool. A condominium or commercial pool is accepted only after a specialist has assessed it.

Phu My Hung has been settled for many years and plenty of its villas have had long use. Their pools show it. Limescale at the waterline thickens season by season, sunscreen leaves an oily line on top, and grout darkens with algae.

We are plain about the limits. Most scale and sunscreen marks lift clearly with a product suited to the tile or stone; scale that has been there for years may only fade. The Up specialist, the UpClean staff member who does the work, tries a short stretch first and tells you what to expect. Heavy scale across the whole shell is a larger job, assessed and proposed separately.

Mosaic or ceramic tile

The common finish. Grout takes the most brushing, with moderate pressure and a brush of medium stiffness; the waterline product has to suit both tile and grout.

Natural stone

Calcium-based stone and acid do not mix. Cleaning is mainly by hand brushing, and any local treatment follows a test on a small patch.

Painted or rendered

Soft brushes, because the coating wears; flaking is photographed for your contractor.

Overflow pools

The overflow channel and balance tank also need cleaning. How far we can go there is decided at the survey, by the access.

Nguoi Do Thi magazine reported in 2023 that Phu My Hung was planned with building density below 30% and about 8.9 m² of greenery per resident. Homes usually have trees, planters or a pergola close by, and dry leaves blow onto porches, back yards and the pool. Leaves left on the water sink and rot; a full skimmer basket slows the circulation.

The same article describes the south of the city as low land affected by high tides, and many neighbourhoods border the Saigon River or the Kenh Te canal. The rainy season runs from May to November. After each heavy downpour the floor gathers leaves, sand and sediment; if the water stays cloudy afterwards, ask us to look.

Before a holiday or a party

One overall clean before guests arrive.

Work runs from the surface down, so that what is brushed off the walls can settle before the floor is vacuumed. The pool stays full.

• The water, walls, tile, waterline and surround are photographed first.
• Leaves, insects and floating debris are skimmed off.
• Walls, steps and corners are brushed, and scale and marks at the waterline removed.
• The floor is brushed, then vacuumed through the pool's existing filtration.
• Skimmer and pump baskets are emptied and the filter pressure gauge read.
• pH and chlorine are tested; an approved product is added only if a reading is off, at the labelled dose, never mixed with another.
• The surround is wiped, you are told when the pool can be used, and the Up Report, a photo report with the readings and checklist, is sent by WhatsApp or Zalo.

Equipment

High filter pressure may call for a backwash, done only where the system has clear operating instructions and you agree. We do not repair or replace pumps, filters, valves, lights or electrics; a fault is photographed for your technician, and we leave electrical equipment alone where there are signs of leakage or an unusually wet plant room.

Water

This is basic balancing for family use. Persistent discolouration, an algae bloom or a full change of water is assessed and proposed separately, and we do not commit to advanced water-quality parameters.

One price is listed: 1,500,000 VND, all-inclusive, for a one-off clean of a pool with a water surface of up to 40 m². Larger pools, pools in special condition and regular plans are quoted individually; the survey, at the house or from photos and video, is free.

Water treatment products are charged by the amount used, which depends on the readings and the volume of water, and are agreed before use. The written quote lists the items, the frequency and how products are charged; any change needs your written consent. Pool sizes here are assumptions:

A 3.5 × 9 m pool (31.5 m²), one clean before a holiday

1,500,000 VND; products, if needed, are added by the amount used.

A 6 × 12 m pool (72 m²)

Above 40 m²: quoted after a survey.

Phu My Hung is a multicultural township, home to the Taipei School, the Japanese School, Canadian International School and Korean International School, and many of its villas are let furnished.

Children in the water every day

A weekly plan suits this household. Each visit's Up Report carries photos and the pH and chlorine readings, so you can follow the water over time. Keep children and pets away from the pool during the clean and while any product disperses; products arrive in the quantity needed, stay sealed and are not left behind without your agreement.

Rented villas

Between two leases the pool is often switched off. A clean before the new tenant arrives, with its Up Report, gives owner and tenant a shared record.

Villas left empty

A pool that is not running collects rainwater. If the water has changed colour for good or algae has bloomed, the specialist gives an assessment and a separate plan before any work.

Swimming again

If no product was added, as soon as the water has settled clear; if one was, after the waiting time on its label.

English

Enquiry, quote, booking confirmation and Up Report can all be handled in English. If you want an English-speaking specialist on site, say so when booking; if we cannot provide one that day, you will know in advance and have support by phone or message.

Gate security

Guards at many villa neighbourhoods record who comes in. Up specialists are identity-verified and trained to the Up Standard, and your specialist's name, photo and contact number reach you before the visit; waiting at the gate after an on-time arrival is not counted as lateness. Point out parking, the tap and socket we may use and the way to the plant room.

Keys

You need not be there. A key can be left with the guards, the neighbourhood manager or family, is handled by the assigned specialist only and is never copied; the walk-through can be a video call.

Payment and changes

Pay after the walk-through by bank transfer or cash; invoices are issued on request under Vietnamese regulations. Over 15 minutes late means 10% off that visit, anything in the agreed scope that falls short is redone free if you reply to the Up Report within 48 hours, and cancelling inside 24 hours costs 30%.
