Pet-friendly home cleaning in District 7 — apartments and villas in Phu My Hung

Four wards (Tan Thuan, Phu Thuan, Tan My and Tan Hung) replaced District 7 on the administrative map on 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15; a ward is the unit that now follows the street in an address. Phu My Hung, a 433-hectare urban area, lies in the last two. You can still book as District 7; we need the building, the unit number and a few lines about your pets.

Tan My and Tan Hung are scheduled regularly, fixed weekly Up Home visits for pet households included, 07:00 to 20:00 every day. In Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan the time slot is confirmed before we accept.

A home with pets needs no special process, only familiar services in the right order: urine treated before washing, hair removed before floors are mopped. You choose the items, an Up specialist (the UpClean staff member who does the work) advises on the order, and one fixed quote covers them all. In Phu My Hung, where the living room often receives guests, serves as the children's homework corner and is the pets' usual place to lie, a typical combination is:

Sofa cleaning or sofa odour treatment

A wash when the sofa holds hair and stains; odour treatment on site when it smells of pets but the fabric is not yet dirty.

Mattress and bedding care

For beds the pets are allowed on; intensive dust-mite treatment can be added to a mattress.

Rug and curtain cleaning

Rugs hold the most hair and stains; floor-length curtains get scratched and marked by cats.

Deep clean

One thorough visit to reset the home: after a new pet or a move, or before a baby or an allergy-prone relative arrives.

Up Home

Hourly visits for weekly upkeep: hair off floors and fabrics, floors mopped, the litter-box and feeding areas, bathrooms and kitchen, to a checklist agreed at the first visit.

Apartments in District 7 tend to have an L-shaped fabric sofa set against the balcony glass to save floor space, and that kind of sofa keeps hair. Hair clings to the fibres by static and hooks into the weave, so an ordinary vacuum lifts only what lies on top. Our specialists use an upholstery head, move slowly and change direction several times, brush lightly to raise hair caught in the fibres, then vacuum again. Between visits, a lint roller or a damp rubber glove helps, as does a washable throw where the pet sleeps.

Velvet and felt

Hair sinks in deep. A soft brush follows the pile with less pressure, after a test on the back of a cushion.

Leather

Hair stays on the surface, but oil from the coat leaves a dull film. Leather is wiped as the material requires and never washed with water.

Hair gathers in clumps here, so these are done separately from the floor.

Apartments lived in for years

Many homes in Tan My and Tan Hung have seen long use. An old stain deep in sofa or mattress foam may only lose some of its smell; the specialist tests first and tells you what to expect.

Phu My Hung keeps much of its land open: Nguoi Do Thi magazine (2023) reports building density under 30% and about 8.9 m² of greenery per resident. Villas in My Kim, My Thai and Nam Vien and the townhouses around Crescent Lake usually have a garden, trees and planters outside the door, and a pet with a way into the garden brings mud and sand back into the living room. Houses on several floors are surveyed first and cleaned from the top floor down.

Marble and granite halls

Natural stone loses its shine on contact with acidic products, so urine or vomit on stone is wiped only with a gentle product made for stone.

Ground-floor rooms beside the garden

Skirting, door frames and the floor under furniture are wiped, and sand is vacuumed from the sliding-door track. Let muddy paw prints dry before vacuuming.

Bedrooms and guest rooms kept shut

Rooms closed for days smell damp in the rainy season; if pets sleep there, add the mattress and rug to the list.

Townhouses on a main road

Fine road dust settles into the fabric with the hair, so sofas get several deep vacuum passes before washing.

There is no package price; each item is quoted at its published rate: fabric sofas 130,000 VND and leather 160,000 VND per seat, at least 390,000 VND a visit; sofa odour treatment 80,000 VND per seat, at least 300,000 VND; synthetic rugs 35,000 VND and wool rugs 60,000 VND per m², at least 350,000 VND; curtains 40,000 VND per m², at least 400,000 VND; a queen mattress 450,000 VND, plus 100,000 VND for intensive dust-mite treatment. You receive the figure in writing beforehand.

Pet odour that has spread through several rooms

Cannot be priced from the list: we survey at home or from photos and video, then quote through our odour removal service.

Urine is the most stubborn pet stain because it does not stay on the surface: it sinks into sofa foam, rug backing and grout and leaves residue after the top has dried. Fragrance covers it for a few hours, while the animal still finds the place and may mark it again. We locate the stain, apply enough of a product made for organic stains to reach as far as the urine did, wait, then wash and extract. Ammonia and vinegar are left out, because their smell is close to that of urine.

• Fresh urine: press thick paper towel onto it repeatedly until the towel is almost dry. Do not scrub, pour hot water on it or use a dryer.
• Vomit and hairballs: scrape up solids with a plastic card, blot, wipe with clean water, and tell us the spot when booking.
• Scratches in leather or curtains are physical damage; the Up Report, our photo report after each visit, records them.
• Products: approved for sale, diluted as directed, never mixed, low in fragrance. Pets stay off a washed sofa until it is dry, usually 4–6 hours for fabric.
• Fleas and ticks: vacuuming only reduces eggs and larvae, because the insects shelter in floor gaps, along skirting and in pet beds. Treating those places is our bed bug and flea control service, done by UpClean's own pest-control technicians after a free survey. The animal itself needs a vet.

Weekly hourly cleaning

Up Home, our regular hourly home care, suits a household with one or two pets: hair, floors, the litter corner and bathrooms each week, sofa and rugs each quarter or when stained, mattresses and curtains twice a year. It is cleaning only; specialists do not feed, walk or bathe pets.

English

We deal with enquiries, quotes, booking confirmations and Up Reports in English. If you want a specialist who speaks English in the home, say so when booking; when that cannot be arranged, we tell you beforehand and help by phone or message.

Your building

Many towers here ask residents to register outside staff in advance, and villa streets often have guards who log visitors. We send the specialist's name and photo so that you can do this.
