The four wards of the former District 7, and where we clean rugs and carpets
Under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the former District 7 was reorganised on 1 July 2025 into four wards: Tan My, Tan Hung, Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan. A ward is the local unit that now appears on an address. "District 7" is still the name people use day to day, so give us your address in either form.
Phu My Hung, a 433-hectare urban area planned for about 100,000 residents, lies across Tan My and Tan Hung wards. This is our regular area, including Sky Garden, My Khanh, My Canh, Garden Plaza, The Crescent, The Grandview, The Panorama, The Antonia and Happy Valley Premier. Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan are served once a time has been confirmed.

Why rugs in Phu My Hung need their own kind of care
A rug in Phu My Hung is lived on, so it has to be cleaned by its fibre and dried thoroughly. Many households leave shoes at the door, sit on the rug for tea and let young children play or read on the floor; it meets skin, food, drink and pets far more than a rug in a seldom-used room.
The neighbourhood is known as a multicultural one, with the Taipei School, the Japanese School, the Canadian International School and the Korean International School nearby. A rug here may be a wool piece brought from the home country, a hand-knotted rug chosen for a villa living room, or a large rug under the dining table.
The rainy season lasts from May to November, with average relative humidity of about 80% in those months. Many homes beside the Kenh Te canal and the Saigon River have stone or ceramic-tile floors, and under a thick rug left in place for months, damp collects between backing and floor, above all in corners with little sun and under heavy furniture.
- A damp or musty smell, stronger after long spells of rain, or dark spots on the underside.
- Matted, flat pile along the walkway, or dried drink, sauce and pet stains that have spread.

Synthetic, wool or hand-knotted: how each rug is cleaned
The Up specialist identifies fibre and weave, checks the backing and tests colour-fastness on a hidden corner; the result decides the solution, the amount of water and the handling.
- Synthetic — 35,000 VND per m²
- Common in bedrooms, children's rooms and offices. The fibre tolerates water: it is deep-vacuumed, spot-treated and spray-extracted by machine.
- Wool — 60,000 VND per m²
- Usual in the living rooms of large apartments and villas. Wool holds water and reacts badly to strong solutions, so a mild solution is used, water is kept under control and no stiff brush touches the pile.
- Hand-knotted — 90,000 VND per m²
- Each piece has its own knots, dyes and fringes; fringes and borders are cleaned by hand. A rug of high value, or one needing full immersion washing, is assessed first, and the specialist tells you frankly which course suits it.
- Fitted carpet and carpet tiles
- Vacuumed to the base of the pile, treated along the walkways and spray-extracted zone by zone.
- Silk, artificial silk, aged backing
- Assessed from photos before we accept the job, with the risks set out so the decision is yours.
What rug and carpet cleaning costs in District 7: worked examples
The cost is the area of each rug multiplied by the rate for its fibre, added up for the whole visit; if the total is below 350,000 VND, that minimum applies. The rug type, its size and the all-inclusive price are confirmed before you book, and change only if you agree in writing.
- The price covers labour, the extraction machine, solution matched to the fibre, protective materials, spot treatment of stains, hand-cleaning of fringes and the Up Report.
- 2-bedroom apartment
- One 2 × 3 m (6 m²) synthetic rug in the living room: 350,000 VND (calculated at 210,000 VND, so the per-visit minimum applies).
- 3-bedroom apartment
- A 2.5 × 3.5 m (8.75 m²) wool rug in the living room and a 1.5 × 2 m (3 m²) synthetic bedroom rug: 630,000 VND.
- Phu My Hung villa
- A 3 × 4 m (12 m²) hand-knotted living-room rug, a 2 × 3 m (6 m²) wool dining-room rug and two 1.5 × 2 m (3 m² each) synthetic rugs in the children's rooms: 1,650,000 VND.
- Office on Nguyen Van Linh
- 80 m² of synthetic carpet tiles in the work area and meeting room: 2,800,000 VND.
Office carpet cleaning in District 7 without interrupting work
Office carpet is charged at the synthetic rate and can be cleaned at the weekend, so it is dry before the next working day. Along Nguyen Van Linh, Nguyen Luong Bang and Ton Dat Tien, and around Crescent Mall, many offices have carpet tiles or fitted synthetic carpet; foot traffic darkens the walkways, the pantry area and the floor around chairs.
We confirm the area and send an all-inclusive quote first. The Up Report goes to the person in charge of office administration, with a VAT invoice from Uptech Technology Solution Company Limited (tax code 0316973414) on request. Regular cleaning of a whole office or showroom is a separate service, quoted by contract after a free survey.
Apartment towers and villa compounds: access, furniture and waste water
Your rug is cleaned where it lies, so there is nothing to roll up or carry down to the lobby. Dirty water is drawn into the machine's tank and never runs into a corridor or shared area.
Phu My Hung has both high-rise towers and low-rise villa and townhouse areas, and the way in differs. In many towers the specialist shows ID at the lobby and moves machines in the service lift during permitted hours; we find out the rules where you live and follow them. If the specialist arrives on time, the wait at the lobby is not counted as lateness.
- When you book, tell us the tower or villa compound, the unit number and where each rug is.
- Furniture is photographed before it is moved; heavy pieces such as sofas are better put back once the rug is completely dry.
How often to clean, how we work, and how to book
Household rugs are usually cleaned every 6–12 months and office carpet every 3–6 months; sooner if young children play on the rug, if you have pets or if it lies in the main walkway. Between cleans, blot spills from the edge inwards without rubbing, and in the rainy season lift a corner now and then to check the backing and the floor for damp.
- Send photos of the rug, its rough size and the fibre if you know it by WhatsApp or Zalo to +84 968 726 135, or use the Quote page of this website.
- We confirm the all-inclusive price and a time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, any day of the week.
- The specialist records the rug's condition, tests colour-fastness and cleans according to the fibre, about 45–90 minutes for an ordinary living-room rug.
- Moisture control
- Water is extracted straight after cleaning, the pile is brushed upright and the rug is propped to air, so it dries in about 4–8 hours.
- Verified and punctual
- Up specialists are identity-verified and trained to the Up Standard, our working standard. More than 15 minutes late for the confirmed time, and that visit is 10% off.
- Free re-clean
- If an item falls short, we redo it free of charge within 48 hours of your receiving the Up Report.
