Where District 7 is now, and which wards we cover
The former District 7 is now four wards: Tan Thuan, Phu Thuan, Tan My and Tan Hung. A ward is the local unit on an address; the city stopped using districts when the ward administrations began work on 1 July 2025 under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15. Ownership certificates and leases signed earlier still show the old address and remain valid under Resolution 190/2025/QH15, so book with whichever form of the address is easier.
Our regular area is Phu My Hung, the planned urban area that lies across Tan My and Tan Hung wards (the old Tan Phu and Tan Phong). Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan are served by appointment confirmed in advance.
- Tan Hung ward — regular service
- The old Tan Phong, Tan Quy, Tan Kieng and Tan Hung: Sunrise City on Nguyen Huu Tho, the Him Lam area along the Kenh Te canal, and the SC VivoCity and RMIT stretch of Nguyen Van Linh.
- Tan My ward — regular service
- The old Tan Phu and part of Phu My: Phu My Hung Midtown, Crescent Mall and Crescent Lake with the Starlight Bridge, Riviera Point on Huynh Tan Phat and the area around SECC.
- Tan Thuan ward — by appointment
- The old Binh Thuan, Tan Thuan Dong and Tan Thuan Tay, with Eco Green Saigon and the neighbourhoods around it.
- Phu Thuan ward — by appointment
- The old Phu Thuan and part of Phu My, with Q7 Saigon Riverside on Dao Tri.
Why curtains in Phu My Hung pick up dust and damp so quickly
Curtains here work harder than in much of the inner city, because homes are kept open. Phu My Hung has wide roads and plenty of greenery, and many households open their doors to the breeze from the Kenh Te canal or the Saigon River. The curtain shades the sun, takes the wind and catches dust before it travels further indoors.
Homes that look onto Nguyen Van Linh, Nguyen Huu Tho or Huynh Tan Phat usually find the side facing the window darkening faster than the side facing the room. In villas, large living-room curtains that hang close to the floor gather dust along the hem; beside an open kitchen, curtains hold food smells. From May to November the rainy season adds humidity and rain driven through balcony-door gaps, and damp sets the dust into marks.
- Dust visibly lifting when the curtains are drawn, or showing in slanting afternoon sun.
- Dark edges and hems, with water lines or spots after the rainy season.
- A damp, cooking or pet smell that stays after airing the room.
- Sheers that look dull against the light, or a home just repainted or next to a building site.

Sheers, heavy drapes and blackout curtains: one method for each fabric
Whether a set is cleaned where it hangs or washed in water depends on the fabric, its weight, the state of the fibres and how it is fitted. The Up specialist reads the care label, tests colour-fastness on a hidden corner and sorts the sets; for curtains that need washing, the method and the return time are confirmed with the quote.
- Sheers
- Fine fibres that snag and shrink. Washable sheers are handled gently, one set at a time, and never wrung hard, so they keep their drape and clarity.
- Heavy drapes
- Velvet, brocade and thick weaves are heavy, hard to take down and slow to dry. Both sides, the pleats and the heading are vacuumed, then steam-cleaned in place.
- Blackout curtains
- The sun-blocking coating cracks if folded or wrung, so these are treated with a light hand.
- Linen and cotton
- Natural fibres can shrink. The specialist explains the risk and the suitable option, and you decide before anything is done.
What curtain cleaning costs in District 7, by type of home
The price is the total curtain area at 40,000 VND per m², plus 100,000 VND if you choose take-down and re-hanging (charged once per visit, not per window), and never less than 400,000 VND per visit. The areas below are estimates; the specialist measures on site and the all-inclusive price is fixed with you before starting, then changes only with your written agreement.
- Included: fabric check, colour-fastness test, vacuuming of both sides, cleaning suited to the fabric, wiping of tracks and hooks, steaming and pleat-setting, and the Up Report, our photo record of the visit.
- 1-bedroom apartment
- About 8 m² in the bedroom and living room, without take-down and re-hanging: 400,000 VND (calculated at 320,000 VND, so the per-visit minimum applies).
- Rental apartment between two leases
- About 10 m², with take-down and re-hanging: 500,000 VND.
- 2-bedroom apartment
- About 18 m² of sheers and blackout curtains, with take-down and re-hanging: 820,000 VND.
- 3-bedroom apartment
- About 28 m² across three bedrooms and the living room, with take-down and re-hanging: 1,220,000 VND.
- Townhouse or villa
- About 60 m² over several floors, including a double-height living room, with take-down and re-hanging: 2,500,000 VND. High positions are surveyed first.
Double-height living rooms and apartment towers: taking curtains down and putting them back
Curtains fitted at ceiling height are surveyed before we agree to take them down. Many villas and townhouses in Phu My Hung have a double-height living room with a large glass front. We look at these from photos or in person, choose equipment for the height and go ahead only when you have agreed the approach; specialists do not work on the outer side of a balcony railing.
In apartment towers, expect ID checks at the lobby and the service lift for curtains and tools; we ask about your building's rules and follow them. If the specialist arrives on time, waiting at the lobby is not counted as lateness.
- Each panel is numbered and its position photographed before it comes down, so it returns to the same window, the same way round, with the same pleats.
- If your curtains run on a motorised track or a cord system, tell us when you book so the specialist can plan how to take them down and re-hang them.
Landlords, tenants and owners abroad: English, keys, registration, payment
The gap between two leases is a convenient time to clean curtains in a Phu My Hung rental: the home is empty, and the Up Report, with before-and-after photos of each set, gives the landlord a record of their condition at handover.
- In English
- Enquiries, quotes, booking confirmations and the Up Report can all be in English, by WhatsApp if you are abroad. For a specialist who speaks English in the home, note it when booking; if we cannot arrange one, we say so in advance and support by phone or message.
- Access and keys
- Nobody needs to be home. A key can be left with building management, reception or family; only the assigned specialist handles it, the times are recorded and keys are never copied. For a smart lock we recommend a temporary code, and the walk-through, our joint check of the finished work, can be done by video call.
- Registering the visit
- Many apartment buildings ask residents to register outside staff beforehand. We send the specialist's name and photo so you, or whoever looks after the unit, can do that.
- Payment
- After the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash. A VAT invoice is issued on request by Uptech Technology Solution Company Limited (tax code 0316973414).
How often to clean curtains in District 7, and how to keep them clean longer
For most households, living-room and bedroom curtains should be cleaned every 6–12 months; every 3–6 months if the home faces a main road, stands near a building site, has pets or has someone sensitive to dust. Good moments are the end of the rainy season, or the weeks before Tết, the Lunar New Year.
- Once a month, vacuum from top to bottom with a soft brush head, including the heading and the pleats.
- In heavy rain, draw the curtains clear of the balcony door so the hems stay dry.
- Near an open kitchen, run the extractor hood while cooking and pull the curtains away.
- Fix loose hooks or a sticking track early, before the curtain is tugged and tears at the heading.
What we do differently, and how to book
Curtains are easy to spoil with the wrong method: sheers shrink, blackout coatings crack, pleats hang crooked after re-hanging. We do not work for speed.
- Send photos of the windows, rough sizes and the type of curtain by WhatsApp or Zalo to +84 968 726 135, or enter the area on the Quote page of this website.
- We reply with an estimate, confirm the time and say whether high curtains need a survey first.
- At your home the specialist measures, confirms the all-inclusive price, cleans each set according to its fabric, re-hangs and sets the pleats with you.
- Risks stated first
- Fabrics that may shrink and curtains already worn are pointed out before the work, not at handover.
- Verified and punctual
- Up specialists are identity-verified and trained to the Up Standard, our working standard. More than 15 minutes late for the confirmed time, and that visit is 10% off.
- Free re-clean
- Within 48 hours of receiving the Up Report, any set you are not satisfied with is redone free of charge.
