The four wards of former District 7 — where we clean
Under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the wards of the former District 7 were reorganised into four new wards — Tan Thuan, Phu Thuan, Tan My and Tan Hung — which began operating on 1 July 2025. Tan My is a new name; Tan Hung and Phu Thuan share the names of old wards but now cover larger areas, which is worth bearing in mind when you look up an address.
Phu My Hung, planned over 433 hectares for around 100,000 residents, now lies in Tan My and Tan Hung wards (the former Tan Phu and Tan Phong). This is our regular service area, with slots from 07:00 to 20:00 every day. For Tan Thuan and Phu Thuan, please contact us first so we can confirm a time.

Seven months of rain and homes by the canals: caring for mattresses in District 7
According to the Ho Chi Minh City government portal, the rainy season runs from May to November, with average rainfall of about 1,949 mm a year and relative humidity around 80% during the wet months. Many District 7 developments sit beside the Saigon River and canals such as Kenh Te; seven damp months in a row mean a mattress — absorbing sweat every night — rarely gets the chance to dry out completely.
In Phu My Hung villas and townhouses, ground-floor bedrooms and guest rooms are often closed up for days, and mattresses in long-shut rooms easily pick up a damp smell. In high-rise apartments, nightly use builds up dead skin and sweat — food for dust mites, tiny creatures that thrive in warm, humid conditions. Regular low-moisture cleaning with immediate extraction keeps the mattress fresh without wetting the core.
- A lingering damp smell in the bedroom, even with the air-conditioning on.
- A guest-room mattress that smells when the door is opened after a long time unused.
- Water marks from spills, leaks or a mattress pushed against a damp wall.
- Family members sneezing or with an itchy nose in bed — possibly from dust and mites in the mattress.
- A darkened border, or small spots of a different colour on the surface.

Multicultural Phu My Hung: mattress care for young families and multi-generation homes
Phu My Hung is often described as a multicultural neighbourhood, home to the Taipei School, the Japanese School, Canadian International School and Korean International School. Every household has its own habits: thin floor mattresses for young children in some homes, thick spring mattresses with toppers in others, pets in many. What all families expect is that anyone working in their home understands and respects those habits.
We provide advice, quotes, booking and your Up Report in English or Vietnamese. When booking, feel free to note any specific requests — areas you'd rather we didn't enter, children's nap times, pets to be kept in another room — so your Up specialist can prepare properly.
- Long-let apartments
- Many Phu My Hung apartments are let furnished. Cleaning mattresses between leases helps landlords hand over properly and reassures new tenants; the Up Report gives both sides a clear photo record.
- Families with young children
- Clean the children's and shared-bedroom mattresses every 3–4 months, and consider adding intensive dust-mite treatment.
- Families with older relatives
- Book a morning slot so the mattress is fully dry by evening; if a relative needs an afternoon rest, prepare a temporary bed.
- Homes with pets
- Hair and dust on the cover are vacuumed in several passes and stains spot-treated. Please keep pets in a separate room during the visit.
Mattress types in District 7 homes, and how we treat them
Different rooms often have different mattresses, and each needs its own Up Standard method. Before your appointment, your specialist asks about the type, size and age of each mattress; if you are unsure, just send a photo of the label by WhatsApp or Zalo.
- Thick spring mattresses with a comfort layer
- Common in master bedrooms. Usually one-sided, so the top and border are enough; water is extracted immediately so it never settles in the spring unit.
- Natural latex
- Its spring is preserved by avoiding heat and soaking: a low-moisture clean, instant extraction and no direct sun.
- Foam and memory foam
- Soft and pressure-sensitive; your specialist works gently, applies solution lightly and extracts in several passes so the surface doesn't dent or lose shape.
- Floor and folding mattresses
- Often found in children's rooms. Send a photo of the label so your specialist can identify the material, advise on the method and quote by size before booking.
- Toppers
- Cleaned on the bed with a low-moisture method and quoted by size before booking. If the cover is removable and machine-washable per the label, we will advise you on washing it separately.
Mattress cleaning costs in District 7: worked examples
Our price list is by mattress size; both-sides cleaning adds 120,000 VND and intensive dust-mite treatment adds 100,000 VND per mattress. These examples help you budget for typical District 7 homes; your final price is confirmed in writing before booking.
- Prices include labour, tools, solutions suited to each mattress type, protective covers, moisture extraction and your Up Report.
- Long-standing stains may only fade; your specialist tells you beforehand, and nothing is added without your written approval.
- You can work out your total on our Quote page before booking.

Villa or high-rise: how to prepare for the visit
In high-rise apartments, many management offices ask for contractors to be pre-registered, check ID at the lobby, direct them to the service lift and set permitted hours. Villas and townhouses are usually easier to access, but please let estate security know if your compound controls entry. We send your specialist's name and photo in advance; time spent on formalities after an on-time arrival does not count as lateness.
- Strip sheets, pillowcases and duvets from the bed; if you haven't had time, your specialist will help and fold them neatly.
- Clear the bedside and the area around the bed so your specialist can cover and work easily.
- Keep pets in another room, and let us know which rooms have sleeping children.
- Afterwards, open the windows on a dry day or run the air-conditioning or a fan so the mattress dries evenly.
- If you need a VAT invoice, send your invoicing details when you book.
