Pet-friendly home cleaning in Thao Dien — garden villas, compounds and furnished rentals

Thao Dien is no longer a ward of its own. On 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, it became part of An Khanh ward; a ward is the administrative unit that replaced the district. Older documents remain valid under Resolution 190/2025/QH15, so a lease that says Thao Dien, District 2 is fine for booking.

Our office at 72 Nguyen Co Thach, in Sala, is in the same ward, so a household with pets here can keep one fixed Up Home visit a week. Appointments run from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, every day.

Familiar services in a fixed order: hair first, then urine, then fabrics, floors last. To prepare, we need to know whether you keep dogs or cats, how many, which of them is timid or runs for an open door, whether one is pregnant or on medication, where they sleep and where accidents have happened.

• Hair is vacuumed from sofas, mattresses, rugs, curtains and the floor under beds. The litter-box corner and the grout near feeding bowls are cleaned, and low glass is wiped free of nose and paw marks.
• Pets spend the visit in a shut room with water, or with someone from the household. Feeding, walking, bathing and grooming are not part of the job, and specialists do not handle the animals.

A villa on Nguyen Van Huong or Quoc Huong usually has a lawn, big trees, an open veranda and sometimes timber decking round the pool, and a pet crosses all of it on the way to the living room. The ground is low as well: Tuoi Tre newspaper reported in June 2025 that heavy rain coinciding with a high tide can leave 0.15–0.3 m of water on Quoc Huong, Nguyen Van Huong and Thao Dien streets for an hour or two, and mud in yards and entrances afterwards. A house on several floors is cleaned from the top down.

Veranda and garden doors

Let muddy prints dry, then vacuum. Sand is cleared from the sliding-door track and nose marks from the low panes.

Leather and fabric sofas

Leather keeps hair on the surface, though the coat's oil dulls it in streaks. Fabric holds hair in the weave: slow passes in several directions, a light brush, then the vacuum again.

Masteri Thao Dien

Most units are modest in size; one resident, writing on VnExpress, put a two-bedroom flat there at about 65 m². The litter box therefore sits close to where people live, and the floor, skirting and grout around it are cleaned at every Up Home visit.

Gateway Thao Dien

Windows 2.4–2.7 m high with full-height curtains whose hems touch the floor, which is where cats scratch and mark. Curtains are vacuumed on both sides and the hem treated before washing.

The Nassim

Marble floors, which acid dulls. Blot urine or vomit at once and wipe with a neutral product; never vinegar or an acidic cleaner.

Thao Dien Pearl

On the river, where the breeze carries damp into rooms seldom opened. A urine smell is strongest in humid weather or in a closed room with the aircon on, so its source has to be found.

The Ascent

Glass more than 3 m tall. This service covers the low panes with nose and paw marks; the upper glass belongs to our interior window cleaning, within safe reach.

Most homes rented to foreigners in Thao Dien come furnished, and Tuoi Tre counted nearly 6,000 foreign residents of 102 nationalities here in 2020. Sofa, mattresses and curtains pass from one tenant to the next, and so do hair and odour.

Moving in

A smell confined to one sofa has two answers: odour treatment by the seat, or a wash when the fabric is dirty too. A smell in several rooms needs a survey before our odour removal service can quote.

Moving out

A deep clean, the furnishings that belong to the property washed, and an Up Report with before-and-after photos. We clean and record, claw marks included, which washing cannot mend; damage and the deposit are for landlord and tenant to settle.

No package rate. Every line of the quote is a listed service with its own minimum: sofa odour treatment 80,000 VND a seat, at least 300,000 VND; sofa washing 130,000 VND (fabric) or 160,000 VND (leather) a seat, at least 390,000 VND; rugs 35,000 VND per m² for synthetic and 60,000 VND for wool, at least 350,000 VND; curtains 40,000 VND per m², at least 400,000 VND. The households below are invented; your figure is confirmed in writing first.

Urine smell lingers because the liquid does not stay on top: it sinks into sofa foam, rug backing or grout, and residue remains once the surface is dry. We locate the spot, get a product made for organic stains down to the same depth, give it time, then wash and draw the moisture out. Neither ammonia nor vinegar is used, since both smell like urine to an animal. An old accident deep in foam may be much reduced without disappearing, and you hear that first. Our products are approved for sale, diluted to the label, used one at a time and lightly scented.

Houses with gardens often ask about fleas and ticks. Vacuuming lifts some eggs and larvae, but the insects hide in floor gaps, along skirting and in pet beds. Those places are treated under our bed bug and flea control service, by UpClean's own pest-control technicians, once a free survey has been done and a quote given in writing. A weekly rhythm

For a flat with one or two animals, a common pattern is Up Home once a week for hair, floors, the litter corner and bathrooms; sofa and rugs every quarter; mattresses and curtains every six months. We are not a helper or pet-sitting service.
