Where Thao Dien is now, and which homes we come to
Because the work happens at the parking spot, the address comes first. Thao Dien, the riverside neighbourhood of the former District 2, has belonged to An Khanh ward since 1 July 2025, when Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 replaced the city's districts with wards, the local administrative units. Either form of address will do, with the street or tower and a note of where the car stands.
Our office, at 72 Nguyen Co Thach in Sala, is in the same ward; car bookings in Thao Dien are taken daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Riverside and garden villas
- On Nguyen Van Huong and Quoc Huong, with the car in the yard or the garage.
- Gated compounds
- The specialist registers at the gate and takes the route shown.
- Townhouses
- In the lanes and on main streets such as Xuan Thuy, Thao Dien street and Vo Nguyen Giap. Tell us whether a socket is near the car.
- Apartment towers
- Masteri Thao Dien, Xi Riverview Palace, The Ascent, Thao Dien Pearl, Gateway Thao Dien, The Nassim, Tropic Garden and Lumiere Riverside. In a shared car park we work only with building management's consent.

- The rest of the former District 2 is on our District 2 page.
Villa yard, compound gate, townhouse lane, tower car park: what each one needs
The extraction machine runs on mains power, and every door of the car has to open. A spot works when three things are in place: permission for service work there, a socket within reach, and room on both sides. Dirty water is held in the machine's tank and emptied in the proper place, never onto the ground.
- A villa's yard or garage
- Your own property, so little is needed: point out the socket and where the machine can stand.
- Gated compounds
- The gate logs each visitor and tells the specialist where to park, which path to use and which outdoor socket and tap are allowed.
- Townhouses in the lanes
- Equipment stays on your own property, off the shared lane. With no power or too little room, the specialist proposes another place.
- A tower's shared car park
- Management has to agree to service work in the car park, to the use of a socket, and to how waste water is handled. Rules differ by building and can change, so we never assume. Ask them, then register the visit with the details we send.
Standing water, damp garages, garden soil: what a cabin in Thao Dien goes through
Tuoi Tre reported in June 2025 that Quoc Huong, Nguyen Van Huong and Thao Dien streets sit on low ground with old sewers, so heavy rain on a rising tide can put 0.15–0.3 m of water on them for one to two hours. Through the rainy season the garages and basements of many houses here stay damp.
A car shut up in a damp garage, with wet shoes and an umbrella left in it after an afternoon of rain, easily picks up the smell in its fabric seats and carpet. The path from garden to car brings in soil, fine sand and bits of leaf, which settle in the carpet and the seat gaps before they show on the fabric; hence the thorough vacuuming.
If water has ever entered the cabin, say so with your photos. With seats, carpet and headliner cleaned and the cabin deodorised, the smell usually drops clearly. After a flood, though, the sound insulation under the floor may go on smelling, and only a garage can open that up.
Long trips, the school year, moving in or out: good moments to book
In 2020 Tuoi Tre put Thao Dien's foreign residents at nearly 6,000, of 102 nationalities, alongside about 40 international schools. With frequent work travel and long holidays, a car here may be driven daily and then stand for weeks.
- Before and after a long absence
- Before you go, take wet mats, umbrellas and anything damp out of the car. If the cabin smells on your return, have the seats and carpet extraction-cleaned and deodorised.
- The start of the school year
- Children drink milk and snack in the back seat on the school run. Milk and vomit keep their smell; tell us early, before they reach the foam.
- Pets and child seats
- A rubber brush and a dedicated vacuum head gather pet hair first. A child seat's removable cover is cleaned by the maker's label; its harness is wiped, never soaked.
- Leaving, or just arrived
- Before selling a car on leaving the city, or after taking over a used one, have the whole interior done. The Up Report, our before-and-after photo record of the visit, shows the state of seats, headliner and carpet.
How each material is cleaned, and what is left out
The specialist starts by noting materials, stains and existing tears or peeling, and photographs the interior as found; belongings left in the car are bagged and returned at the end. The whole cabin is then vacuumed.
- Fabric seats
- Each stain is treated, then the machine sprays the solution in and pulls it straight back out with the dirt, so the foam never fills with water.
- Leather, genuine or synthetic
- Done panel by panel with a soft brush and a mild solution, dried at once, then conditioned; never wet-washed. Perforated, heated or cooled seats get a well-wrung cloth and the least possible solution. Cleaning does not mend existing cracks.
- Headliner
- This fabric roof lining is glued up and sags when wet, so it is wiped one mark at a time with a barely damp cloth, never sprayed.
- Carpet and touch surfaces
- Fitted carpet is extraction-cleaned in place with little water. Steering wheel, armrests, dashboard, door cards and the inside of the glass are wiped; deodorising comes last.
- Left out
- Taking seats out, the engine bay, electrics and aircon, washing the bodywork, paint polishing and ceramic coating. A garage or car-care centre does those.
Car seat cleaning prices in Thao Dien: what to send for a quote
There is not yet one price for every model, so this page gives no figure. A few photos usually settle it: seats front and back, headliner, carpet, plus the model, its number of seats and where it is kept. A car in an unusual state, such as one that has taken in water, is surveyed free.
The all-inclusive price comes in writing together with the expected duration, and afterwards changes only with your written agreement.
| Factor | What we ask |
|---|---|
| Size | Four or five seats, seven, or more rows. |
| Seat material | Fabric, genuine or synthetic leather, perforated leather; the steps and the time differ. |
| Extras | Seats alone, or with headliner, door cards, dashboard and the floor and boot carpets. |
| Condition | Everyday dust, long-set stains, food or pet odours, mould after a flood. |
| Spot and hours | A socket, room around the car, and what the compound or building allows. |
Drying in the rainy season, booking in English, payment
Most of the water is drawn back out, so fabric seats are left only slightly damp. Full drying depends on the foam, the material, the weather and the airflow, and is slower in wet weeks; leather is dry as soon as it is wiped. You are given an expected time at handover. Open the windows a crack when the car is parked somewhere safe, and use fresh-air intake on the aircon while driving.
- In English
- Enquiry, quote, booking confirmation and Up Report can all be in English. For a specialist who speaks English, add a note when you book; if we cannot arrange one, we tell you in advance and help by phone or message.
- Booking
- Message 0968 726 135 on WhatsApp or Zalo with the photos, the model and the parking spot. The appointment is confirmed in writing. Remove the car's documents and valuables first.
- Payment and redo
- Payment follows the walk-through, our check of the finished work with you, by bank transfer or cash; invoices on request. Any agreed item that falls short is redone free within 48 hours.
