Junk removal and storeroom clearing in Thao Dien — villa garages, compounds, rented apartments

Thao Dien is the riverside neighbourhood that older leases call Thao Dien ward, District 2. The city stopped using districts on 1 July 2025 and regrouped its wards, the local administrative units: Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 placed the whole of Thao Dien in a new An Khanh ward. Give the address as you know it.

Riverside and garden villas

On Nguyen Van Huong and Quoc Huong streets, many with a large garden and a pool. Garages, outbuildings and basements are where unused things end up.

In a Thao Dien villa, whatever is out of use tends to go to the garage, the outbuilding or the basement and stay there, sometimes through several tenancies. Tuoi Tre (June 2025) describes Quoc Huong, Nguyen Van Huong and Thao Dien streets as low-lying, with old drains: when heavy rain meets a high tide, water can stand 0.15–0.3 m deep for one to two hours. With a rainy season from May to November, many garage floors and basements stay damp for months.

Everything in such a store comes out to a dry spot for sorting. Damp cardboard boxes are discarded once you have looked inside, and what you keep goes back in lidded plastic boxes, raised off the floor and clear of the walls.

• The survey covers the way to the gate and where a vehicle can stop; stone floors on the route are covered first.
• Old wardrobes and beds are taken apart where possible. Built-in wardrobes, kitchens and sanitary fittings need a building contractor.
• The emptied store is swept and wiped. Traces of rodents or insects are photographed, and any treatment you decide on is carried out by UpClean's own pest-control technicians.

An apartment holds less than a villa, but the way out is stricter: registration with building management, a designated lift and fixed hours. Each building sets its own rules, so we ask again when you book.

Masteri Thao Dien

Five blocks above a shopping centre. Residents, shoppers and contractors usually have separate routes in such buildings, so old furniture leaves by the route and lift management assigns. Many units are let; the usual job is clearing what the previous tenant left.

Gateway Thao Dien

Three residential towers and one serviced-apartment tower with its own operator; we work in the residential units. At the end of a lease we clear and photograph; damage and the deposit are between landlord and tenant.

The Nassim

238 apartments in four towers, with marble floors and private lift lobbies. Marble on the carrying route is covered; management decides which lift is used.

Thao Dien Pearl

Two 33-storey towers over a shopping centre. Many families have lived here for more than ten years, and storerooms have filled accordingly. In the 16 duplex units, items from the upper level come down the internal stairs first.

Lumiere Riverside

Handed over at the end of 2023. Cartons, polystyrene and offcut boards left after fitting out are within the service.

Tuoi Tre reported in 2020 that nearly 6,000 foreign residents of 102 nationalities lived in Thao Dien, and most homes let to them come furnished. In a furnished home the first thing to settle is what belongs to whom: if you give us the furniture list both sides signed at move-in, the Up specialist sorts against it, and anything uncertain is put to one side until a message confirms it can go.

If you are leaving

Clear a few days before the packers come, so that less has to be shipped; a deep clean can follow once the home is empty.

If you are the landlord

Everything is photographed as found. What the tenant left is removed only after you have confirmed each group by message.

What to clean before handing back a rented home, and when to book it.

Nothing is discarded without your agreement. Our part ends when the waste is handed to an operator permitted to collect and transport it; UpClean does not treat, recycle or destroy waste, or buy second-hand goods.

A balcony at Masteri and a villa garage on Nguyen Van Huong filled over several tenancies cannot share one rate, so we publish none. A small job is quoted from photos; a villa or a whole apartment gets a free survey. The written all-inclusive quote states the scope, the people, the vehicle and the time, and changes only if you agree in writing.

In English

The enquiry, the quote, the booking confirmation and the Up Report, our photo record of the visit, can all be in English. For an English-speaking specialist in the home, say so when you book; if we cannot arrange one, we tell you beforehand and help by phone or message.

If you have already left

Leave a key with building management, reception or family: only the assigned specialist handles it, the times are recorded and it is never copied. Decisions are confirmed by message with photos, and the walk-through, our check of the finished work with you, can be a video call.

Payment

After the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash; any deposit for a larger job is stated in the quote. Invoices are issued on request.

• Send photos or video to 0968 726 135 on WhatsApp or Zalo, with the house number, the compound or tower, and the floor. The booking is confirmed in writing, with a reminder the day before.
• Put documents, jewellery and cash away, label what is certain to stay or go, and tell us if the store holds batteries, aerosols or chemicals.
• If we are more than 15 minutes late, that visit is 10% off. Cancelling is free with 24 hours' notice; after that the fee is 30%. Anything within the agreed scope that falls short is redone free if you reply to the Up Report within 48 hours.
