Which Phu My Hung this is, its wards, and how we take bookings
This page covers the 433-hectare Phu My Hung urban area in the former District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City. The city replaced districts with wards, its local administrative units, on 1 July 2025 under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15; the urban area now sits in Tan My ward and Tan Hung ward.
We take pressure checks and top-ups in both wards from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, any day of the week. An address that still shows the old ward is accepted.

Sky Garden from 2010, The Peak from 2021: does a building's age affect the gas?
Among the developments named above, Sky Garden 3 is one of the early ones, due for handover from the third quarter of 2010, and The Peak at Midtown one of the latest, handed over from November 2021. Happy Valley (2015), Riverpark Premier (planned for late 2018) and Hung Phuc Premier (August 2020) fall in between. Whatever the tower, refrigerant, the gas of everyday speech, stays within a closed system and does not dwindle as a unit grows old. What differs is how a unit might have come to be short.
- Towers of ten to fifteen years
- Many households have renovated in that time. A unit that is taken down and refitted, or moved, loses some gas during the work; if you do not know a unit's history, have it measured.
- Towers a few years old
- A unit can be short from the start if the charge at installation was too small, or the pipe run was extended without gas added to match.
- Pressure that falls month by month
- The sign of a small leak at a joint, the service valve or the pipework; a top-up then is only temporary.
Trees, parks and main roads: a dirty outdoor unit that passes for low gas
Nguoi Do Thi magazine (2023) gives Phu My Hung a building density under 30% and about 8.9 m² of greenery per resident. That greenery also delivers dry leaves, pollen and fine dust: the low-rise blocks of Happy Valley collect leaves and pollen on their balconies, The Peak at Midtown stands beside a park and a wide stretch of river, and low floors facing the main road at Scenic Valley take in more dust. An outdoor unit on a balcony, roof terrace or in a back yard catches all of this.
Once the fins are coated the unit cannot shed heat: the air indoors still blows hard but is not cold, much as it would with low gas. During a cleaning visit we therefore measure only after both the indoor and the outdoor unit are clean, and many units cool properly again with no gas added.

Large apartments, duplexes, penthouses and villas: units outside the published price
The published price applies to wall-mounted units up to 2 HP; HP, horsepower, is the capacity on the unit's label. Many Phu My Hung homes use other types. The largest Riverpark Premier apartments, up to about 231 m², may have a cassette in the living room; Happy Valley has duplexes and penthouses; Sky Garden has penthouses of 174–500 m² with many units; townhouses and villas often have a floor-standing unit in the living room, and some a ducted system.

- Quoted after measuring and reading the rating label, since the quantity differs greatly from one unit to the next, with its capacity and with the distance its pipes cover.
- Outdoor units on roofs and canopies

- The right gas
- The rating label on the outdoor or indoor unit names the gas, and that is the only gas we put in. Refilling at home is unwise, not least because R32 is mildly flammable.
What a gas top-up costs in Phu My Hung, with examples
A single figure is published. For a wall-mounted unit no larger than 2 HP that runs on R32 or R410A, a top-up starts at 250,000 VND. It appears on your bill only if that unit measured low and you agreed; taking the reading during a cleaning visit is free. The set-ups below are assumed, and their cleaning sums already carry the listed 10% reduction that starts with unit 3 of a visit.

Suspected leaks, the warranty, and what the readings are for
Repairing air conditioners is not part of our work. Low pressure together with oil seeping at a pipe joint, frost in the wrong place, or a figure worse than the last one recorded points to a leak. The specialist writes down what was seen and measured; take that record to a repair service or to the manufacturer's service centre. Whether to top up for the time being is yours to decide, knowing the gas may be lost again.
- Warranty
- A top-up carried out alongside a clean comes under that clean's 90-day warranty, which answers for dripping water, unusual noise and weaker cooling that the cleaning caused. It does not extend to refrigerant leaks, component faults or defects that pre-date our visit.
- Rented apartments
- Many apartments here change occupants with each lease. A clean with a pressure reading puts every unit on record in figures for the handover papers.
- Before you agree to any top-up
- Ask to see the gauge, which gas the unit uses, and whether the price is per unit or by the amount of gas.

- A price is given up front and the appointment confirmed in writing. Nothing is paid until the walk-through, when the work is checked with you; then cash or bank transfer.

- Ask in English and we answer in English: enquiry, quote, confirmation, and the Up Report with its figures. For spoken English during the visit, mention it as you book; if no English-speaking specialist can be assigned, you are told before the day and we stay reachable by phone or message.
- Registering the visit
- A good many towers ask the resident to register outside staff first. Before the visit you receive the name and photo of the specialist to hand to the management office.
- If you are away
- Hand the key to family, to reception or to building management. Your assigned specialist is the one person who uses it, and we never copy keys. Figures and price are messaged to you, and the top-up waits for your reply.
