Phu My Hung in the former District 7: today's wards and the homes we visit
This page covers the Phu My Hung urban area, 433 hectares in the south of Ho Chi Minh City; Phu My in the Ba Ria – Vung Tau area is somewhere else. Under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 the city has had no districts since 1 July 2025, only wards, its local administrative units, and Phu My Hung lies in two of them, Tan My and Tan Hung.
Both wards are on our regular schedule, every day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A booking message needs three things: the complex or street, the block or house number, and where the car is parked.
- Villas and townhouses
- My Kim, My Thai, Nam Vien and the rows around Crescent Lake, with the car in the yard, the garage or the basement garage.
- Apartments in Tan My ward
- Phu My Hung Midtown and its four parts, The Grande, The Symphony, The Signature and The Peak; Scenic Valley; Riverpark Premier; Hung Phuc Premier.
- Apartments in Tan Hung ward
- Sky Garden 1, 2 and 3; Happy Valley; Sunrise City.
- Tan Thuan, Phu Thuan and elsewhere
- The rest of the former District 7 is on our District 7 page.
Complexes of dozens of blocks: what a shared car park takes
Some Phu My Hung complexes are large. On press and developer figures, Sky Garden has 42 blocks and more than 3,000 households, Happy Valley 12 blocks, Scenic Valley 7 towers, Riverpark Premier three, and Midtown four separate parts. In a place that size the project name alone will not lead the specialist to your car, so give the block or part and describe the spot.
A shared car park is run by the complex's management, so we work there only with management's agreement. Each complex issues its own guidance and may revise it; we follow what you or management pass on.
- Three questions for management: is service work allowed in the car park, which socket may be used, and during which hours.
- Register the visit with the specialist's name and photo, which we send beforehand.
- Dirty water stays in the extraction machine's tank and never reaches the car park floor.
- UpClean is independent of the developer and of the companies managing these complexes; you book with us and pay us directly.
Villas and townhouses in My Kim, My Thai and Nam Vien: in the yard, garage or basement garage
In the low-rise neighbourhoods the car usually sits on the home's own ground, which keeps things simple: it goes nowhere and you wait for nothing. The Up specialist, the UpClean staff member assigned to your booking, brings the vacuum, the extraction machine, the solutions and the covers, and needs only a socket near the car.
These neighbourhoods often have guards who note who comes in. You receive the specialist's details beforehand to pass on; if the specialist arrives on time and is held at the gate, that wait is not counted as lateness.
- Loose mats come out of the car to be extraction-cleaned or scrubbed.
- Dirty water is emptied in the proper place, never onto the garden.
Low ground in the south and the rainy months: damp smells and drying time
Nguoi Do Thi magazine wrote in 2023 that the south of the city was once marshland and is still low and exposed to high tides, while Phu My Hung rarely floods thanks to tide gates, a building density below 30% and about 8.9 m² of greenery per resident. Rare flooding is good news for a car, but the damp of the rainy months still gets into the cabin: a wet umbrella, a raincoat or wet mats left in a closed car for a few days can start a smell.
After cleaning, fabric seats are only slightly damp, because the machine has taken most of the water back. How soon they dry fully depends on the material, the foam, the weather and the airflow; rainy months are slower, and leather is usable soon after wiping. You are told the expected time at handover.
- Leave the windows open a little when the car is parked somewhere safe, use fresh-air intake on the aircon when driving, and keep wet clothes off the seats for the first few hours.
- If water has ever entered the cabin, tell us first: the smell may sit in the sound insulation under the floor, which a garage has to open up.
School runs and pets: which stains come out, and how
Phu My Hung has the Taipei School, the Japanese School, Canadian International School and Korean International School inside it. With school-age children, the car is also where milk and snacks are had on the way, so stains collect on the back seat. Do not scrub a fresh stain hard or pour hot water on it: it can spread and set deeper.
- Milk and vomit
- Organic stains keep their smell. The fabric is cleaned right through and the cabin deodorised; the sooner we hear, the better.
- Coffee, milk tea, soft drinks
- Blotted, treated one mark at a time, then extraction-cleaned. An old mark may leave a faint ring.
- Ink, lipstick, grease
- Tried first on a hidden spot. Some inks and dyes do not come out fully, and you are told so beforehand.
- Pet hair and crumbs
- Gathered with a rubber brush and a dedicated vacuum head before the extraction machine runs.
- Fabric and leather
- Fabric has the solution sprayed in and drawn straight out, never poured on. Leather is not wet-washed: each panel is cleaned with a mild solution, dried and conditioned; perforated or heated seats get only a well-wrung cloth.
- Headliner, carpet, child seats
- The glued roof lining is wiped mark by mark with very little water; fitted carpet is extraction-cleaned in place. A child seat's removable cover follows the maker's label; its harness is only wiped.
Why every car in Phu My Hung gets its own quote
A five-seater with leather that is merely dusty and a seven-seater with fabric, milk stains and pet hair take very different amounts of work, so there is no single price yet and this page states no figure. Photos are the quick way: seats, headliner and carpet, with the model and the number of seats. A car in an unusual state is surveyed free of charge.
The all-inclusive quote arrives in writing with the expected length of the visit, and does not change unless you approve it in writing.
| Factor | What to tell us |
|---|---|
| Size | Four or five seats, seven, or more rows. |
| Material | Fabric, genuine leather, synthetic leather, perforated leather. |
| Scope | Seats only, or the headliner, floor and boot carpets, door cards and dashboard as well. |
| Condition | Ordinary dust, old stains, food or pet odours, mould after flooding. |
| Parking place | Power, working room, and the hours and rules of the complex. |
What is left out, and notes for international residents
The service ends with the passenger cabin and the boot. Seats stay in because they may contain airbags, sensors and wiring; bodywork washing, paint polishing, ceramic coating, the engine bay and the electrical and aircon systems are for a garage or car-care centre. Cracks and peeling already in the leather are photographed at the start; cleaning does not restore them.
- English
- Enquiries, the quote, the booking confirmation and the Up Report, our before-and-after photo record of the visit, can all be in English. To have a specialist who speaks English, say so when booking; if we cannot arrange it, we tell you beforehand and help by phone or message.
- Booking and the day
- Message 0968 726 135 on WhatsApp or Zalo with photos, the model, the complex and the parking spot. Take the car's documents and valuables out first; anything else is bagged and handed back.
- Payment
- After the walk-through, our check of the work with you, by bank transfer or cash; nothing is added on the day unless you approve it, and invoices are issued on request. An item that falls short is redone free if you reply to the Up Report within 48 hours.
