District 6 is now four wards: where we take aircon bookings
Since 1 July 2025 the city has used wards, the local administrative units, in place of districts; under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 the former District 6 became four wards. Shop signs and invoices often still show an older address, so send the house number and street and we match it ourselves.
We accept bookings in all four wards from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. On market streets the slot avoids the hours when lorries and carts are loading.
- Binh Tay ward
- The old Wards 2 and 9, named after Binh Tay Market, built by the merchant Quach Dam, with more than two thousand stalls and the wholesale shophouses around it.
- Binh Tien ward
- The old Wards 1, 7 and 8: terraced houses and street-front shops among residential alleys.
- Binh Phu ward
- The old Wards 10 and 11 and part of Ward 16 of the former District 8, crossed by Vo Van Kiet Avenue; mostly townhouses and alley houses.
- Phu Lam ward
- The old Wards 12, 13 and 14, north of Binh Phu, with multi-storey alley townhouses and shops on the main roads.
Shophouses near Binh Tay Market: why their air conditioners clog sooner
Around the market, in old Cho Lon, one building is both home and wholesale business: a shop or store for packaging, dry goods or fabric on the ground floor, the family above. Lorries, carts and delivery motorbikes pass all day, so road dust is far heavier than in a quiet residential street.
The shop unit also takes in cardboard dust, fabric lint and the smell of the stock. Its filter blocks quickly, and owners usually notice only when water drips onto the goods or the cooling fades at midday. Upstairs, bedrooms under a roof terrace or metal roof run their units from late afternoon until morning. Outdoor units facing a market street, above the shop awning, gather the most dirt.
- A dense grey mat of paper dust and lint on the shop unit's filter.
- Condensate dripping onto stock because the drip tray is blocked.
- A top-floor bedroom slow to cool even at a low setting.
- A smell of stock or damp when the unit starts.

How much is aircon cleaning in District 6? Prices and worked examples
Each type of unit has a fixed rate. In one visit the two most expensive units are charged in full and every unit from unit 3 onwards is 10% off. If the units on the day differ from the booking, your specialist gives you the new figure and continues only once you agree by message.
- Alley house, two 1–1.5 HP units: 500,000 VND.
- Four-storey townhouse, four bedroom units and a 2 HP living-room unit: 1,225,000 VND.
- Wholesale shop, one floor-standing unit below and three wall units above: 1,200,000 VND.
- Small trading office, two cassettes and one wall unit: 1,325,000 VND.
- Totals include labour, tools, cleaning solution, tarpaulins over shelving, the water-collection bag, the outdoor unit where safely reachable, and the Up Report, our photo record of the visit.
- Gas pressure is read free on every unit. A low R32 or R410A unit of up to 2 HP can be topped up from 250,000 VND; other units and gases are quoted after measuring, and only with your consent.
| Unit | All-inclusive price |
|---|---|
| Wall-mounted, 1–1.5 HP | 250,000 VND. Bedrooms and the altar room. |
| Wall-mounted, 2 HP and above | 300,000 VND. Larger living rooms. |
| Floor-standing | 500,000 VND. Common in wholesale shops, as it needs no false ceiling; cleaned where it stands, with the stock around it covered. |
| Ceiling cassette | 550,000 VND. Shops with a plaster ceiling, showrooms and counters; about two hours each. |
| Ducted | 700,000 VND per indoor unit. Occasional in offices or newer builds; needs a ceiling access hatch. |
Shopfronts, steep stairs and narrow alleys: how we prepare
Shophouses here have no building management, but they have a frontage full of stock, steep stairs and alleys where parking is hard. The outdoor unit above an awning is the trickiest: your Up specialist, the identity-verified UpClean team member who does the work, cleans it only from a balcony, a roof terrace with a handrail or through a window frame, and never leans out over the street. If a unit is beyond safe reach, we say so and you decide what happens next.
- Send a photo of each outdoor unit taken from inside the house.
- Tell us the shop's quiet hours and where a motorbike carrying tools can stop.
- Point out any altar, display cabinet or safe near a unit; it is covered and not moved without your agreement.
- Rinse water is caught in a bag, never left to run onto the awning, the alley or a neighbour's stall.
What each visit includes, and how often to book
- Shop and storeroom units: every 2–3 months; rinse their filters yourself every two to four weeks.
- Bedroom units used nightly: every 3–4 months.
- Altar room or rarely used living room: twice a year, ideally just before Tết.
- Keep stock clear of the indoor unit and never box in the outdoor unit.
- No extras afterwards
- The price is set when you book; anything new needs your written approval.
- Stock kept dry
- Shelves and sacks are covered, photographed first and put back in place.
- Proof of the work
- The Up Report, sent by Zalo or WhatsApp, shows filter, coil and outdoor unit before and after.
- No pressure over gas
- Gas is quoted only when low. UpClean sells no parts and does no repairs.
- 90-day warranty
- Leaks, unusual noise or weaker cooling caused by the cleaning are put right free of charge.
- Punctuality
- More than 15 minutes late for the agreed time means 10% off that visit.
How to book aircon cleaning in District 6
Message 0968 726 135 on Zalo or WhatsApp, or use the Quote page, with the number and type of units, where the outdoor units are and when the shop is quietest. We reply with the total, the time and your specialist's name and photo.
On the day the shop units are done first so the floor is free again early. A wall unit takes about 45–60 minutes, a cassette roughly twice that, and each unit is test-run in front of you. A VAT invoice is issued on request by Uptech Technology Solution Company Limited (tax code 0316973414).
