Three wards in place of District 10: where we take aircon bookings
Under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the former District 10 became three wards, the local units that replaced districts, on 1 July 2025: Dien Hong, Vuon Lai and Hoa Hung. Earlier that year Wards 5, 7 and 11 had been merged into Wards 8, 6 and 10 respectively. The area is only about 5.72 km² but had more than 364,000 residents at the end of 2024.
All three wards are covered by appointment, 07:00 to 20:00, seven days a week; the start time is set for each booking around your building's rules and where a motorbike can stop.
- Dien Hong ward
- The old Wards 6 and 8 and part of Ward 14: Thong Nhat Stadium on Dao Duy Tu, townhouses and street-front shops.
- Vuon Lai ward
- The old Wards 1, 2, 4, 9 and 10, home to more than 76,000 people and to the Ngo Gia Tu apartment complex, built in 1968.
- Hoa Hung ward
- The old Wards 12, 13 and 15 and the rest of Ward 14, including Ha Do Centrosa Garden at 200 3 Thang 2 Street: eight 30-storey towers and 115 terraced townhouses.
Walk-up blocks, new towers and street-front houses: what goes wrong with the aircon
Part of District 10's housing dates from before 1975: the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper counted 23 old apartment blocks and 2 housing estates of that generation in 2022, about 3,378 flats. Buildings such as Ngo Gia Tu are around four storeys, with no lift and narrow stairs. Outdoor units hang just outside a window on a metal bracket or a small balcony, often several side by side, so their hot air has little room to escape and the fins clog with street dust. In a small flat the kitchen, living room and bedroom sit close together, and cooking fumes reach the filter.
Newer towers such as Ha Do Centrosa Garden give outdoor units a technical loggia. Townhouses on busy roads take in traffic dust, and a ground-floor unit serving a shop may run all day.

Clinics and shops near the hospitals and universities
Children's Hospital 1, People's Hospital 115, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, the University of Economics and Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine are all in the former District 10, with a "health street" about 2.8 km long. Around them, clinics and shops run their aircon for long hours, so we plan visits to disturb business as little as possible.

What aircon cleaning costs in District 10, by type of home
The examples below use the current price list. In every visit the two most expensive units stay at list price, and from unit 3 onwards each unit is 10% off. The quoted figure does not change on the day unless you approve an extra item in writing.
- All-inclusive covers labour, tools, solutions, covers, the dirty-water bag, the outdoor unit where it can be reached safely, and the Up Report.

Building management, walk-up stairs and the outdoor unit outside the window
In a newer tower such as Ha Do Centrosa Garden, the common practice is for residents to register visitors with management in advance, for ID to be shown at reception and for equipment to go up in the goods lift. We send your specialist's details for this; a wait in the lobby after arriving on time is not counted as lateness.
A four-storey walk-up has no reception but narrow stairs. Tools come up in small bags and never block a neighbour's way. An outdoor unit outside a window is cleaned only if it can be reached safely from inside; otherwise we stop and let you decide.
- Dirty water goes into the bag, never onto the sill or awning of the flat below.
- On a busy street, tell us where the motorbike carrying the tools can stop.
- A landlord can authorise us to arrange the visit directly with the tenant.
How often to clean the aircon in a District 10 home
Clean before the hot season, around March and April, and after the rainy season to clear slime from the drip tray. Keep laundry and plants away from the outdoor unit.
