Four wards in place of District 6: where we clean mattresses
The district's boundaries changed twice in 2025; since 1 July, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the area has been four wards, the units that now replace districts on an address. If a shop sign or invoice still shows an old ward, just give us the house number and street.
We take bookings in all four wards seven days a week, between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and agree the arrival time for each house when you get in touch.
- Binh Tay
- The old Wards 2 and 9, centred on Binh Tay Market, which the merchant Quach Dam built, with wholesale streets all around.
- Binh Tien
- Built from the old Wards 1, 7 and 8: small trading terraces on the street front, residential alleys behind.
- Binh Phu
- The old Wards 10 and 11 plus part of Ward 16 of the former District 8, crossed by Vo Van Kiet Avenue, with planned townhouse areas.
- Phu Lam
- The old Wards 12, 13 and 14 on the north side of Binh Phu, mostly townhouses down alleys.
Living above the stock: what reaches a mattress from the shop below
Binh Tay Market is part of old Cho Lon, where families have lived upstairs and traded downstairs for generations. Fabric, packaging and dry goods are packed and unloaded all day, and their paper dust, lint and powder drift up to the bedrooms on the air and on people's feet.
Mattresses here often carry a fine layer of dust under the sheet, thickest along the seams. The old townhouses are deep and narrow, lit from the front and a light well, so a middle bedroom gets little sun and holds rainy-season damp. Dust, damp and sweat together suit dust mites. Staff who sleep on the mezzanine have mattresses of their own, rarely noticed until they smell.
- Grey dust on the mattress at every change of sheets, although the floor is mopped daily.
- A damp smell in a middle bedroom beside the light well in the rainy season.
- A staff mattress yellowed where the head and back rest.
- Older family members coughing or sneezing at night.

Fitting the visit around the market day
Mornings until midday are the busy hours around the market, while families in Binh Phu and Phu Lam mostly keep office hours. We suggest:
- Wholesale shophouses
- A late-afternoon slot after trading; the specialist uses a side entrance or the route you show, out of the shop's way.
- Homes with live-in staff
- All the spare mattresses in one visit, each priced separately, with the state of every one recorded.
- Three generations under one roof
- The grandparents' room in the morning, so it is dry before their afternoon rest; dust-mite treatment is worth adding.
- Townhouses in Binh Phu and Phu Lam
- A weekend slot, with sofa or curtain cleaning in the same appointment if you wish.
Latex, spring, pressed cotton or foam: what each mattress needs
Your Up specialist, the identity-verified UpClean team member who does the work, asks for the mattress type and roughly when it was bought; a photo of the side label is enough.
- Natural latex
- Common in long-established families. Never soaked, heated or left in strong sun; very little moisture, drawn out straight away.
- Spring
- Usual in refurbished main bedrooms. Water is extracted the moment it goes in, so none stands in the spring frame.
- Pressed cotton and floor mattresses
- Often on the mezzanine. The dense filling holds water, so we accept the job only after photos show it can dry in time.
- Foam and toppers
- Foam dents easily, so the spray is light and the passes slow. A topper is cleaned in place with the mattress and priced by size.

What mattress cleaning costs in District 6: examples
Each mattress is priced by size. The underside adds 120,000 VND, and intensive dust-mite treatment adds 100,000 VND for that mattress. These examples use the published price list; your quote arrives in writing before the visit.
- The price covers solutions, equipment, covers and extraction; a surcharge applies only if you sign to agree it.
- Stains of many years usually fade rather than disappear; we say so beforehand and note it in the Up Report, our photo record of the visit.
- Main bedroom above the shop
- One 1.8 m mattress, both sides, with dust-mite treatment: 770,000 VND.
- Three-storey house near the market
- One 1.8 m and two 1.6 m mattresses, top side only: 1,450,000 VND.
- Two staff mattresses on the mezzanine
- Two singles, top side only: 700,000 VND.
- Three-generation home in Binh Tien
- One 1.8 m, two 1.6 m and one single, all with dust-mite treatment: 2,200,000 VND.

Through the shop and up narrow stairs: getting ready
Many shophouses have a single entrance through the shop and a steep staircase at the back. The specialist brings compact equipment in several trips; please leave a path about one person wide and tell us where to park, as the market streets fill with delivery vehicles. If you live in an apartment building that registers outside staff, we send the name and photo the day before.
- Strip the sheets and pillowcases, or the specialist can do it if you are busy in the shop.
- Clear any stock stored on the stairs, and tell staff if their mattresses are included.
- Afterwards, keep the door open and a fan running until the mattress is dry.
How often to clean, and how to book
- Message 0968 726 135 on Zalo or WhatsApp, or use the Quote page, with the size and type of mattresses on each floor and your address.
- Choose a time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM; the day before, we send your specialist's name and photo.
- Each side takes about 45–60 minutes. You check every mattress, then pay by transfer or cash; a VAT invoice is issued on request by Uptech Technology Solution Company Limited.
- Anything below standard is redone free if you tell us within 48 hours of receiving the Up Report. Changes are free with 24 hours' notice; later cancellations cost 30%.
- House with a shop or store below
- Every 4 months, ideally with dust-mite treatment.
- Rooms of older relatives or young children
- Every 3–4 months.
- Homes in Binh Phu and Phu Lam
- About every 6 months: at the end of the rainy season and before Tết.
- Staff mattresses
- Whenever the occupant changes, and at least once a year.
