Washing machine cleaning in District 10 — Dien Hong, Vuon Lai, Hoa Hung

The former District 10 was redrawn twice in 2025: on 1 January Ward 5 joined Ward 8, Ward 7 joined Ward 6 and Ward 11 joined Ward 10; on 1 July, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the district became three wards, the local units that replaced districts. More than 364,000 people (end-2024 figure) live on about 5.72 km², so homes are small and close together, and we always ask where the machine stands before accepting a booking.

Bookings are taken in all three wards between 07:00 and 20:00, seven days a week; the start time is set for each address once we know the building's rules and where a vehicle can stop.

Dien Hong ward

The old Wards 6 and 8 and part of Ward 14, nearly 1.9 km², with townhouses and shops around Thong Nhat Stadium on Dao Duy Tu.

Vuon Lai ward

The old Wards 1, 2, 4, 9 and 10: about 1.3 km² and more than 76,000 residents. The Ngo Gia Tu apartment estate, built in 1968, sits among tight rows of townhouses and shops.

Hoa Hung ward

The old Wards 12, 13 and 15 and the rest of Ward 14, about 2.6 km². Ha Do Centrosa Garden (No. 200, 3 Thang 2 Street) has eight 30-storey towers and 115 terraced townhouses.

According to Saigon Giai Phong newspaper (2022), District 10 still had 23 apartment blocks and 2 housing estates built before 1975, about 3,378 homes. Estates such as Ngo Gia Tu are roughly four storeys high, with stairs only and narrow corridors; carrying a machine down several flights for servicing is beyond most households.

Terraced house with two machines

Everyday and bedding machines are done in one appointment, each with its own entry in the Up Report, the photo record we send after the visit.

Send photos of the machine, its rating label and the corner it stands in when you book. On the day the machine is test-run and photographed, the drum comes out, and the drum, outer tub, door seal, detergent drawer and drain filter are cleaned before a full test cycle. The Up Report, with before-and-after photos, follows by WhatsApp or Zalo.

Top-loader

About 1.5–2 hours; the pulsator, the wash plate at the bottom, comes off so that the floor of the outer tub can be scrubbed.

Front-loader

About 2–3 hours, as more parts come off; the folds of the door seal get particular attention.

Washer-dryer

Add 150,000 VND to the price for its door type and capacity, for the drying system inside the casing.

Photos first

Japanese-market, commercial and hard-to-reach built-in machines are quoted from photos; for a one-piece outer tub, we say beforehand what can be cleaned.

Prices follow the door type and the capacity on the label: top-loaders 450,000 VND up to 9 kg and 550,000 VND above, front-loaders 690,000 VND and 790,000 VND, plus 150,000 VND for a drying function. Applied to homes typical of District 10:

At Ha Do Centrosa Garden, residents usually tell management about service staff in advance; the specialist shows ID at reception and uses the goods lift, and lobby formalities after an on-time arrival do not count as lateness. Older blocks have no reception, but the staircase is narrow and the corridor is shared, so the drum and its parts stay on a tool mat inside your flat.

• Give us the block, floor and flat number, or for a townhouse the nearest place to park.
• Empty the drum, clear the top of the machine and leave a patch of floor free beside it.
• Rooms with tenants: the landlord lets them know beforehand.

Punctuality

If the specialist is more than 15 minutes late, that visit's invoice is reduced by 10%.

After the visit

Anything not up to standard is redone free if you reply within 48 hours of the Up Report; report any damage within 24 hours, with photos.

A machine in daily use needs its drum out about every six months; large families, homes with small children and shared machines in rented rooms need it sooner. In a cramped corner, leave the door and detergent drawer ajar after each load so that the drum dries.
