Mattress cleaning in District 9 — Vinhomes Grand Park, Long Binh, Tang Nhon Phu

At the start of 2021 District 9 ceased to be a district and joined the new Thu Duc City; when Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 took effect on 1 July 2025, its thirteen wards were folded into five. A flat may be written as "District 9", "Thu Duc City" or a new ward name; book with whichever you have.

All five wards take mattress bookings from 7 AM to 8 PM every day, Saturday and Sunday included. The area is large, so your specialist's arrival time is agreed separately for each address when you book.

Long Binh ward

Tang Nhon Phu ward

Five former units now share one name: Hiep Phu, Tan Phu, Tang Nhon Phu A and B, and a slice of Long Thanh My, running from the Thu Duc intersection along Le Van Viet to the Hi-Tech Park.

Phuoc Long ward

Built from Phuoc Binh, Phuoc Long A and Phuoc Long B; mainly townhouses and residential streets on the edge of the former District 2.

Long Truong ward

Phu Huu merged with Long Truong; homes spread along Nguyen Duy Trinh and Ring Road 2.

Long Phuoc ward

Truong Thanh merged with Long Phuoc; an islet area of riverside garden houses on the Dong Nai.

Vinhomes Grand Park started handing over in 2019 and, VnExpress reports, had over 60,000 residents five years on. Most are young families, working people and tenants of studios or one- and two-bedroom flats. Many mattresses bought at handover have been through four or five rainy seasons without a deep clean. Windows usually stay shut with the aircon on all night, yet sweat and skin flakes still soak into the cover; in a studio, cooking grease settles on the bed too, and fine dust from nearby building sites drifts into the seams.

The Saigon Hi-Tech Park, planned at over 913 hectares, lies in what is now Tang Nhon Phu ward. Along Le Van Viet and Do Xuan Hop many townhouses are now rooms for engineers and workers, one mattress each and a new tenant with each contract. In Long Phuoc and Long Truong, riverside garden houses have ground-floor bedrooms whose walls easily turn damp in the rainy season.

Many apartment managements ask residents to register service staff ahead and set contractor hours. You get your specialist's name and photo the day before, to pass to reception; time spent on lobby formalities after an on-time arrival is not lateness. • Strip the bed before we arrive, or your specialist will; keep pets in another room, and agree the time with any tenant.
• Afterwards, run the aircon or a fan, and open the loggia door if the day is dry.
• Between cleans, wash a waterproof protector weekly with the sheets, and keep a garden-home bed a few centimetres from the wall.
