Where we clean mattresses in Tan Phu: eleven old wards, five new
Tan Phu District was formed from part of Tan Binh District in 2003, with eleven wards. Since districts were abolished on 1 July 2025 (Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15), the area has been five wards, the unit now written in addresses. Son Ky was divided three ways, a small slice going to Binh Hung Hoa ward, which lies mostly in the former Binh Tan. Today's "Tan Phu ward" is only one corner of the old district, chiefly the former Phu Trung and Hoa Thanh.
Tan Phu is outside our regular service areas, so mattress visits there are by appointment: any address in the former district can be booked, 07:00 to 20:00 daily, and the time is confirmed when you contact us. A house number, alley and street are enough for us to place you.
- Tay Thanh ward
- Keeps its name and gains a slice of Son Ky; Tan Binh Industrial Park is here, with rows of rental rooms around it.
- Tan Son Nhi ward
- Built on the old Tan Son Nhi with most of the rest of Son Ky; townhouses packed along Tan Son Nhi and Tan Huong streets.
- Phu Tho Hoa ward
- Built on the old Phu Tho Hoa with the rest of Tan Quy; home to the Phu Tho Hoa tunnels historic site.
- Tan Phu ward
- Phu Trung and Hoa Thanh with parts of Tan Thanh and Tan Thoi Hoa, on the boundary with the former District 11.
- Phu Thanh ward
- Hiep Tan and Phu Thanh with the rest of Tan Thoi Hoa; residential alleys off Luy Ban Bich and Thoai Ngoc Hau.
Dense streets and shared walls: how Tan Phu mattresses collect dirt
The 2019 census put Tan Phu at under 16 km² with about 485,000 residents, over 30,000 per km² and one of the city's highest densities. In the alleys that means tube houses wall to wall, bedroom windows facing the neighbour's wall, and three generations often sharing a house of four or five storeys.
Bedrooms with little fresh air hold moisture, sweat and skin flakes in the mattress cover. Average humidity is around 79.5%, and in the rains from May into November sheets dry slowly and mattresses stay faintly damp. Where a family does garment piecework or keeps stock on the ground floor, lint and cardboard dust find their way up to the beds.

- Older relatives sneezing when they turn over: a sign that a deep clean with dust-mite treatment is worth considering.
Celadon City, alley townhouses and rental rooms: different homes, different needs
Celadon City, an urban area of about 82 ha with some 16 ha of green space next to Aeon Mall Tan Phu Celadon on Bo Bao Tan Thang, is home mostly to young families in apartments. The rest of Tan Phu is largely alley townhouses and rows of rental rooms, many around Tan Binh Industrial Park.
- Celadon City apartments
- Two or three bedrooms with a mattress in each, sometimes a cot as well. The loggia keeps air moving, so a morning clean is usually dry by evening.
- Multi-storey alley townhouses
- Your specialist works from the top floor down and keeps the stairs clear; where grandparents live in, their room comes first.
- Landlords with rental rooms
- Mattresses are cleaned between tenancies, and the Up Report records each one, handy for the room handover file.
- Homes with a shop below
- Book for after the shop closes, so your specialist is not in the customers' way.
Mattress types found in Tan Phu homes, and how each is cleaned

- Water is drawn back out straight after spraying, to keep damp from working down into the springs.
- Natural latex

- The soft top dents if pressed hard, so the nozzle moves slowly and the solution goes on thinly.
- Pressed cotton and folding mattresses

What mattress cleaning costs in Tan Phu: worked examples
Pricing is per mattress, by width, for one side: 350,000 VND for a single under 1.4 m, 450,000 VND for 1.6 m and 550,000 VND for 1.8–2 m. The underside adds 120,000 VND; intensive dust-mite treatment adds 100,000 VND per mattress. Applied to typical Tan Phu homes, the published list gives:

- One 1.8 m mattress and a cot priced as a single, both with dust-mite treatment: 1,100,000 VND.
- Three-generation townhouse
- One 1.8 m cleaned on both sides, two 1.6 m mattresses, and dust-mite treatment on the grandparents' mattress: 1,670,000 VND.
- Four rental rooms
- Four singles, one side: 1,400,000 VND.

- Accept the all-inclusive quote and pick a time between 07:00 and 20:00; your specialist's name and photo follow the day before, for your building's registration if it asks for one.
- Most Tan Phu alleys take only motorbikes, so specialists come by motorbike with compact equipment; just show them where to park. Strip the bed beforehand if you can.
- Each side takes about 45–60 minutes. You pay after the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash; VAT invoices are issued by Uptech Technology Solution Company Limited (tax code 0316973414) on request.
- On time
- More than 15 minutes late for the agreed time, and that visit's invoice is cut by 10%.
- Free redo
