Curtain cleaning in District 9 — Vinhomes Grand Park, Le Van Viet, Long Truong

District 9 was a district in its own right until the end of 2020 and became part of Thu Duc City on 1 January 2021. On 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, its thirteen wards were regrouped into five. The ward is now the city's basic local unit, so a purchase contract may say Thu Duc City while the electricity bill shows a new ward name. Either is fine when you book.

We take curtain bookings in all five wards, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. The former district stretches from the Hanoi Highway to the Dong Nai River, so the exact time is settled with you at the moment of booking.

Long Binh ward

Old Long Binh plus the rest of Long Thanh My; most Vinhomes Grand Park towers carry a Long Binh address.

Tang Nhon Phu ward

Tan Phu, Hiep Phu, Tang Nhon Phu A and B and a slice of Long Thanh My, centred on Le Van Viet beside the Saigon Hi-Tech Park.

Old Phuoc Binh, Phuoc Long A and B: mostly townhouses, bordering the former District 2.

Vinhomes Grand Park covers 271 hectares and began handing over homes in 2019. Many families hung curtains in their first months there, while neighbouring sub-zones and roads such as Nguyen Xien and Ring Road 3 were still under construction. New curtains catch fine dust almost at once: pale sheers turn grey within a dry season, and bedroom blackouts gather dust along the heading and in the pleats.

Near the Hi-Tech Park, many townhouses have become serviced apartments and rental rooms for engineers and specialists, and their curtains are seldom washed between tenants, so smoke, cooking smells and damp settle in. In Long Phuoc and Long Truong, garden houses by the river feel the rainy season, May to November: heavy living-room curtains easily pick up a musty smell, and hems can stain when rain blows in.

Heavy fabric curtains

Both sides vacuumed thoroughly, then steam-cleaned while still on the track, so heavy panels do not have to come down.

Sheers

Washed gently, one set at a time, never twisted or wrung; the quote states how they will be dried and on which day they go back up.

Blackout curtains

Cleaned with a light hand to protect the coating; any cracking or peeling already there is photographed and pointed out first.

Newly made curtains

Some still carry the smell of new fabric and creases from sewing. The label is checked so that the method chosen does not shrink them.

Roller blinds, Venetian blinds and motorised tracks

Motors, tubes and slats are looked at from photos first; we agree the method, then quote.

The cost is the curtain area in m² multiplied by 40,000 VND, plus 100,000 VND once for the whole visit if the curtains are taken down and re-hung, with a 400,000 VND minimum per visit. Double-layer curtains are measured layer by layer. Figures are estimates until your specialist measures at home.

• The rate covers colour testing, vacuuming, wiping the tracks, steaming the pleats back into shape and the Up Report.
• Once measured, the price stays as agreed unless you approve a change in writing.
• Repairs are not included: replacing tracks or hooks, or re-sewing hems.

Many District 9 buildings ask residents to declare outside staff, who then show identification at the lobby, use the goods lift and work set hours. We send your specialist's name and photo in advance for that, and time held at the lobby after an on-time arrival is not counted as lateness. For a townhouse or garden house, tell us the floors and window heights so a suitable ladder comes along. A landlord living outside the city can have a property manager open up and follow the result through the Up Report.
