Six named wards, and where we take curtain bookings
The former Tan Binh District covered 22.43 km² and had 474,792 residents in 2019, according to Wikipedia, with Tan Son Nhat international airport on its northern side. On 1 July 2025 Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 regrouped its fifteen numbered wards into six wards with names. "Tan Binh ward" now means only the old Wards 13 and 14 and part of Ward 15, not the whole former district.
We take bookings across the whole former district, 07:00 to 20:00 every day, outside our regular rounds; old or new addresses both work.
- Tan Son Hoa ward
- Old Wards 1, 2 and 3, around Hoang Van Thu and Hong Ha, with apartments such as Botanica Premier at 108 Hong Ha.
- Tan Son Nhat ward
- Old Wards 4, 5 and 7, named after the airport; townhouses and apartments side by side.
- Tan Hoa ward
- Old Wards 6, 8 and 9; Tan Binh Market, at 172–174M Ly Thuong Kiet, lies in the old Ward 8.
- Bay Hien ward
- Old Wards 10, 11 and 12 around the Bay Hien intersection; the K300 area was in the old Ward 12.
- Tan Binh ward
- Old Wards 13 and 14 and part of Ward 15, around Cong Hoa and Bau Cat.

Airport traffic, tall tube houses and closed windows
Cong Hoa, Truong Chinh and Hoang Van Thu all lead to the airport and carry heavy traffic for most of the day. Houses on these roads and at their alley mouths take in road dust constantly, and the front-window curtain catches it first. Many families keep the glass shut and heavy curtains drawn against dust and noise, so the fabric is seldom aired.
The K300 area grew on rice fields and ponds beside the airport perimeter, according to the Hanoimoi newspaper (2012), and is now rows of tall townhouses built side by side. Tube houses like these are common across Tan Binh: one or two rooms a floor, curtains in each, long curtains over the ground-floor front glass and narrow stairs between.
From May to November relative humidity runs at about 80%, according to the city's official portal, so heavy curtains in a back bedroom with few windows can smell damp after days with the door shut.

Voile, brocade, canvas, blackout: a method for each fabric
Tan Binh Market is one of the city's large wholesale markets for clothing and fabric, and many households choose their own curtain fabric, from voile and floral brocade to heavy canvas. Multi-storey houses and managed buildings: before the visit
For a townhouse, tell us the floors, window heights and stair width, so that the right folding ladder comes. Curtains high above a double-height void are assessed from photos; if they cannot come down safely, they are steamed where they hang.
Apartment buildings around Hong Ha, Pho Quang and Cong Hoa usually set rules on visitor registration, hours and the goods lift. We send your specialist's name and photo for reception; waiting for formalities after an on-time arrival is not lateness.
