Curtain cleaning in Thu Duc — Hiep Binh, Van Phuc City, Linh Xuan

“Thu Duc” can mean three places: the district that existed until the end of 2020; Thu Duc City, which from 2021 to mid-2025 also took in the former Districts 2 and 9; and today's Thu Duc ward. Since 1 July 2025, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the city has used wards, smaller local units, instead of districts. This page is for the old district along Pham Van Dong, Kha Van Can, Vo Van Ngan and National Route 13, now four wards.

We take curtain bookings in all four from 07:00 to 20:00 daily, the exact slot agreed when you book. Our regular schedule runs in An Khanh and Binh Trung; the office is at 72 Nguyen Co Thach, Sala, in An Khanh.

Hiep Binh ward

Beside the Saigon River, merged from the two Hiep Binh wards and a slice of Linh Dong; Van Phuc City and Opal Riverside.

Thu Duc ward

The old centre around Vo Van Ngan and Dang Van Bi: Binh Tho, Linh Chieu, Truong Tho and parts of Linh Tay and Linh Dong.

An Khanh and Binh Trung — regular schedule

The former District 2: Sala, Thu Thiem, Thao Dien, The Global City and Diamond Island.

National Route 13, Pham Van Dong, Kha Van Can and Vo Nguyen Giap cross the former district, as does Metro Line 1. Street-front townhouses here often keep a shop or office behind wide ground-floor glass, with family rooms above, and road dust settles on the street side of those curtains even when the windows stay shut.

In Hiep Binh, Van Phuc City and Opal Riverside sit near the Saigon River, and their terraced houses and villas often have high ceilings and long double-layer curtains. From May to November relative humidity is around 80%, according to the Ho Chi Minh City government portal, and heavy curtains in rooms that are seldom aired can take on a damp smell.

Around University Village and Linh Trung, many rooms and small flats are let to students, lecturers and people working at production sites nearby. Their curtains are seldom washed between tenants, so cooking smells, damp and dust build up year after year.

Total curtain area × 40,000 VND, plus 100,000 VND for the visit if you want take-down and re-hanging, with a 400,000 VND minimum each visit. Double-layer curtains count layer by layer. The areas below are estimates; your specialist measures at home before confirming the price.

• Colour testing, vacuuming, wiping the tracks, steaming the pleats and your Up Report, the photo record of the visit, are part of the rate.
• Once agreed, the price changes only with your written approval.
• Track repairs, new hooks and sewing are outside this service.

Many gated estates and apartment buildings require service staff to be registered, check identification at the gate and allow only the goods lift, within set hours. We send your specialist's name and photo in advance; waiting at the gate after a punctual arrival is not counted as lateness.

For a street-front townhouse, tell us when the shop opens and where to park, so the work does not disrupt trade. For a row of rented rooms, the landlord can ask a manager to open each room and receive the Up Report by Zalo or WhatsApp.

• Clear the area around each window and sill beforehand.
• Mention motorised tracks, and any curtain hung higher than 3 m, when you book.
• Air the room afterwards so steamed curtains dry completely.

• Vacuum the heading and pleats monthly with a soft brush head.
• Keep large blackout curtains out of a home washing machine.
• Ask tenants not to hang wet washing over the curtain rail.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late takes 10% off that visit.

Up Report and free redo

Before-and-after photos noting any fraying or fading; anything not up to standard is redone free if you tell us within 48 hours of receiving the report.
