Go Vap addresses changed twice in 2025: the six wards we cover
From 1 January 2025 Wards 4 and 7 joined Ward 1, Ward 9 joined Ward 8, and Ward 13 was shared between Wards 14 and 15. From 1 July, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the remaining twelve wards were paired into six new ones, and the city moved from districts to wards. A house number, street or development name is all we need to place you.
Curtain cleaning is booked by appointment in every ward, 07:00 to 20:00 including weekends; the arrival time is settled when you book.
- Hanh Thong
- Formerly Wards 1 and 3: CityLand Center Hills at 2 Nguyen Oanh and the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City on Nguyen Van Bao.
- An Nhon
- Formerly Wards 5 and 6: CityLand Garden Hills at 168 Phan Van Tri and the townhouse rows along that road.
- Go Vap ward
- Formerly Wards 10 and 17: CityLand Park Hills, nearly 27 ha, at 18 Phan Van Tri.
- An Hoi Dong
- Formerly Wards 15 and 16, in the north, with small lanes around Le Duc Tho and Thong Nhat.
- Thong Tay Hoi
- Formerly Wards 8 and 11, around the Quang Trung and Thong Nhat roads.
- An Hoi Tay
- Formerly Wards 12 and 14, densely housed along Quang Trung and Pham Van Chieu.
One tube house, four kinds of dirty curtain
Thanh Nien, reporting the 2019 census, counted more than 676,000 people in Go Vap. Many live in tube houses: narrow-fronted, several floors high and built wall to wall with the neighbours, down lanes off Quang Trung, Nguyen Oanh, Phan Van Tri and Le Duc Tho. Because the houses share side walls, the front window is usually each floor's main source of daylight, and its curtain takes the sun, the dust and the gaze of the houses opposite. Add a rainy season from May to November and average relative humidity of about 79.5% over the year, and each floor leaves its own mark.
- Ground floor by the lane
- Door and glass-wall curtains darken on the outer face with dust and exhaust; hems get brushed as motorbikes come in.
- Mezzanine or spare room
- Little sun, so damp lingers and the fabric smells when the room is opened after days shut.
- Middle-floor bedrooms
- Doors closed and aircon on at night; fine dust settles in the folds, hard to see at a glance.
- Top floor
- Harsh sun gradually fades the outward face, and the blackout layer works hardest here.

Sheers, blackout and heavy fabric: the method for each

- Vacuumed on both sides and into the folds, then steam-cleaned on the track, so nobody carries heavy fabric down a steep staircase.

- Washed gently, one set per load so the fibres do not fray; when they will be dry and re-hung is written in the quote.
- Top-floor blackout
- Handled lightly so the coating does not crack; peeling that was already there is photographed and shown to you.

What curtain cleaning costs in Go Vap, by size of house
40,000 VND per m² of curtain. Take-down and re-hang, if you want it, is 100,000 VND for the visit rather than per floor, and a visit costs at least 400,000 VND. The areas below are for estimating only; you pay on the figures measured at your home.
- No separate charges for colour testing, vacuuming, wiping the tracks, steaming or the Up Report.
- Measurements and price are agreed at your home; any later change needs your written consent.
- Not included: replacing hooks, straightening tracks or mending torn seams.
- One rented room
- About 3 m², cleaned in place: 400,000 VND (120,000 VND before the per-visit minimum). Landlords can group a row of rooms.
- Five rooms to let
- About 15 m², in place: 600,000 VND.
- Ground floor plus two storeys
- About 22 m² over three floors, with take-down and re-hang: 980,000 VND.
- Ground floor plus three storeys
- About 32 m², with take-down and re-hang: 1,380,000 VND.
- CityLand townhouse
- About 48 m² of double-layer curtains, cleaned on the track: 1,920,000 VND.
Steep stairs, small lanes and guard posts: getting ready
Lanes here rarely leave room to stop outside, and the way up is usually a narrow, steep staircase. Tell us where to park, how many floors there are and which curtains hang near the ceiling; your specialist carries the tools up without blocking the lane. CityLand and other guarded developments often register service staff in advance, so we send the specialist's name and photo the day before for you to pass on; time at the gate after an on-time arrival is not counted as lateness.
- Move pot plants and furniture away from the windows.
- If a window is directly above the family altar, tell us so it can be covered.
- Afterwards, open a window or run a fan so the curtains dry evenly; keep the ground-floor door partly closed while the fabric is damp.

- If your specialist is more than 15 minutes late, 10% comes off that visit's bill.
- Free redo
- Tell us within 48 hours of receiving the Up Report and any set not up to standard is redone free.
- Changing the date
- Free with more than 24 hours' notice; a later cancellation costs 30%.
