House and deep cleaning in Go Vap — for tube houses and townhouses

Go Vap addresses changed twice in 2025. On 1 January Ward 1 took in Wards 4 and 7, Ward 8 took in Ward 9, and Ward 13 was split between Wards 14 and 15; on 1 July, under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15, the remaining twelve were joined in pairs to make the six below, each shown with the old wards it absorbed. Old ward numbers are fine.

All six are served by appointment, any day between 07:00 and 20:00, with the arrival time agreed for each household.

Hanh Thong

Wards 1 and 3: many houses split into rooms to let near the Industrial University on Nguyen Van Bao, and CityLand Center Hills on Nguyen Oanh.

Wards 5 and 6: townhouses along Phan Van Tri and CityLand Garden Hills.

More than 676,000 people lived in Go Vap at the 2019 census, Thanh Nien reported. The typical home is a tube house: narrow, three or four storeys, sharing walls with its neighbours, deep in a lane off Phan Van Tri, Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Oanh or Quang Trung.

Dirt in such a house travels vertically. The ground floor takes in dust and exhaust whenever a motorbike comes through; the narrow stairs carry it up to the bedrooms; the roof terrace gathers water stains and moss after the rains. Neighbours add their share: when the house next door is raised or re-floored, mortar dust drifts through gaps onto sills and door tracks. From May to November relative humidity is around 80%, according to the city government portal, so dim lower rooms stay damp and bathroom grout dulls fast.

Grease off the hob and splashback, then cabinet fronts, hood and sink; scale off taps and shower glass, grout scrubbed. Cupboard and appliance interiors only if quoted.

Ground-floor living room

Last, as it is the way in: furniture, switches, glass doors and the inside of the roller shutter within safe reach, then the floor, mopped towards the door.

A shop on the ground floor

Common on Quang Trung, Phan Van Tri, Nguyen Van Luong and Nguyen Oanh. Book before opening or after closing, within 07:00 to 20:00; the living floors come first, the shop last.

Floors or rooms let to tenants

Ideally done as a tenant leaves. A landlord living elsewhere can have a key-holder open up, and the Up Report, our before-and-after photo record, documents the next handover.

Larger floors and more glass: team size and time follow area and condition, at the townhouse or villa rate.

Apartments

Two or three bedrooms usually take a day. Tell us the building's rules for outside staff when you book.

Total floor area across all storeys, times the rate for your type of home: 15,000 VND per m² for an apartment, 17,000 VND for a townhouse, 20,000 VND for a villa, and never under 900,000 VND a visit. These areas are illustrations only; your quote uses your own floor area and photos.

A deep clean is a one-off visit priced by floor area, aimed at what routine cleaning misses: grit in door tracks, dull grout, scale on taps, old kitchen grease. Up Home is house cleaning by the hour, 130,000 VND an hour, at least 3 hours a visit; it is cleaning only, with no cooking, childcare or live-in help, and UpClean is not a maid or helper placement agency. A house long without a thorough clean should start with a deep clean.

How often

A deep clean every 3–6 months, or before guests, a new tenant or Tết (book early for Tết). Up Home on a fixed schedule, often weekly.

When hourly is the better choice

A home that is already clean, or a single room, where the 900,000 VND deep-clean minimum would be out of proportion.

Post-construction cleaning

For a house just raised, repainted or handed over: cement, paint and glue need a different process.

Lanes are often too narrow to stop at the door: show us the nearest parking and your specialist carries the equipment in. CityLand, gated estates and apartment buildings usually want outside staff notified, so the specialist's name and photo reach you before the day; a wait at the gate after an on-time arrival is not counted as lateness. If you can, move motorbikes out of the living room beforehand so the whole floor can be mopped.

Fixed price

The all-inclusive figure is sent in writing; nothing is added without your approval. If we are more than 15 minutes late, 10% comes off that visit.
