Washing machine cleaning in District 12 — Tan Thoi Hiep, Thoi An, An Phu Dong

From 1 July 2025, Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 combined the eleven wards of the former District 12 into five; wards are now the city's local units in place of districts. Your lease or the machine's warranty card may still show the old ward; give us the address as you know it and we convert it.

All five wards are open for bookings by appointment, 07:00 to 20:00 every day. Because the area stretches from Truong Chinh to the Saigon River, the arrival time is confirmed with each household.

Dong Hung Thuan ward

Created from the old Tan Thoi Nhat, Tan Hung Thuan and Dong Hung Thuan, next to Go Vap and Hoc Mon; townhouses line Truong Chinh and Nguyen Van Qua.

The former District 12 is the city's northern gateway, crossed by National Highways 1 and 22 and Truong Chinh; Vietnamese Wikipedia records about 728,691 residents on 31 December 2024. Many families live in townhouses of several storeys, and a machine takes on the conditions of its floor.

On a ground floor the issue is damp. Tuoi Tre reported that on 6 November 2025, at the year's highest tide, the Ba Thon tide gate burst and water spilled into the nearby neighbourhood. With relative humidity averaging about 79.5% and rain from May to November, the drum barely dries between loads, and detergent residue with damp lint feeds mould. On a rooftop or front balcony the issue is road dust, plus fine dust that can drift from the industrial park or small workshops; it gets into the detergent drawer and washes down between the inner drum and the outer tub, out of sight.

• Dried laundry still smells damp, worse in weeks of rain or high tides.
• Black flecks or brown residue appear on pale clothes and towels.
• A front-loader's door seal shows black spots, with water in the lower fold.

Quang Trung Software City, founded on 16 March 2001, and the Tan Thoi Hiep Industrial Park have drawn many rented rooms around them, while developments such as Picity High Park, about 8.6 hectares according to VnExpress in 2025, house many young families. How many people share a machine varies widely, so there is no single schedule.

Apartments and shift workers

A photo of a cramped loggia or cupboard helps us prepare, and early-morning or late-afternoon slots within 07:00–20:00 avoid the hours you rest after a shift.

Send four photos: the whole machine, the rating label, inside the drum and the way into the laundry area. Your Up specialist, identity-verified and trained to the Up Standard, test-runs and photographs the machine, covers the floor, then lifts out the drum to clean the inner drum, outer tub, pulsator, shaft, door seal, drawers, drain filter and hose. Parts are labelled on a tool mat, and the machine runs a test cycle with you after reassembly.

The pulsator (the wash plate at the bottom) comes out and the drum is separated. About 1.5–2 hours; 450,000 VND up to 9 kg, 550,000 VND above.

Front-loader

More parts come off, with extra time for the door seal and drawer. About 2–3 hours; 690,000 VND up to 9 kg, 790,000 VND above.

Only the door type and the capacity on the rating label set the price, and each price covers one machine in full, Up Report included. If the real model or capacity differs from what you told us, the price changes only with your written agreement.

All the work happens where the machine stands; the drum never leaves your home. For a narrow alley, tell us where to park and send a photo of the entrance. Apartment managements usually want service staff declared; we send the name and photo early, and a lobby wait after arriving on time does not count as late.

• Empty the drum and clear the top of the machine before the visit.
• Rooftop machine with no cover: if it rains, we agree another time or place.
• If floodwater reached the machine's body, switch off the power and have a repair service check it first; we clean, we do not repair.
• An absent landlord can ask the tenant to open up; the Up Report still goes to the landlord.

The total is in writing before the day, and you pay after the walk-through, by bank transfer or cash; a VAT invoice is issued on request. More than 15 minutes late takes 10% off; if the drum still smells, tell us within 48 hours of the Up Report and it is cleaned again free. Moving or cancelling is free up to 24 hours ahead; later cancellation costs 30%.

About every 6 months suits a machine used daily. Clean a ground-floor machine near a creek before the rainy season, and shorten the interval if there are small children at home.
