Washing machine cleaning across the four District 11 wards
Since 1 July 2025 the former District 11 has consisted of four wards under Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15. About 5.14 km² houses more than 310,000 people (end of 2024), so homes use every square metre, and we always ask where the machine stands before we come.
We take bookings in every ward from 07:00 to 20:00, seven days a week. District 11 is served by appointment: each house gets its own arrival time once we know where to park at the alley entrance and when the shop or workshop is quiet.
- Minh Phung
- Some 74,459 residents on about 1.27 km², the most of the four, in the old Wards 1, 7 and 16; shopfronts between alleys.
- Binh Thoi
- About 1.52 km² from the old Wards 3 and 10 and part of Ward 8, with Dam Sen Cultural Park and the Binh Thoi estate.
- Hoa Binh
- About 0.98 km² from the old Wards 5 and 14, now the city's smallest ward; rows of small townhouses in narrow alleys around the Dam Sen flower market and Giac Sanh Pagoda.
- Phu Tho
- The old Wards 11 and 15 plus the remainder of Ward 8, about 1.37 km²; shops along the main roads, residential alleys behind them.
Shop, workshop and family laundry in one drum: why machines scale up quickly
In this part of the city a house is often a shop or workshop too: a materials store, a repair shop, a breakfast eatery or a small workshop on the ground floor. Fabric lint, metal filings and grease end up on overalls, cleaning cloths and aprons.
When these share a machine with the family's clothes, lint fills the drain filter quickly, grease mixed with detergent residue coats the outside of the inner drum, and a machine running several loads a day rarely dries out. Alley houses are narrow, tall and built wall to wall with few windows; with average relative humidity near 79.5% and rain from May to November, a closed drum grows mould easily.

On the roof terrace, by the bathroom or in the shop: what each spot needs
A tall, narrow house has no set place for the machine, so tell us where yours stands; your Up specialist, the UpClean team member who does the work, then comes prepared.
- Roof terrace, metal roof included
- The machine takes sun and dust, so the lid and detergent drawer are wiped before opening. In the rainy season, keep a covered corner free for dismantling.
- Beside the bathroom or under the stairs
- Little air and lingering damp. Leave the door ajar after each wash and keep the space round the machine clear.
- Ground floor used as a shop or workshop
- Nearby goods and machinery are covered, anything moved goes back, and we come at a quiet hour.
What drum-out cleaning involves for each type of machine
Every machine is test-run and photographed and the area covered. The inner drum is then separated from the outer tub; the drum, drain filter, lint trap and drain line are cleaned; and the machine is reassembled and run through a cycle.
- Top-loader
- The pulsator, the wash plate at the bottom, comes off and the drum is lifted out to clean its outer face, the shaft and the floor of the outer tub, where residue gathers most. About 1.5–2 hours; 450,000 VND up to 9 kg, 550,000 VND over 9 kg.
- Front-loader
- More parts come off, and the door seal and detergent drawer get particular attention. About 2–3 hours; 690,000 VND or 790,000 VND by capacity.
- Washer-dryer
- The price for its door type and capacity, plus 150,000 VND for the drying system.
- Commercial or Japanese domestic-market machines
- Photos first, free of charge, then an all-inclusive written quote.
- Older machines
- Same procedure; brittle plastic, rusted screws or a noisy bearing are raised with you first and noted in the Up Report.
Washing machine cleaning prices in District 11, with examples
Each machine has a fixed price set by its door type and the capacity on its rating label, plus 150,000 VND if it also dries. The examples are calculated from the current price list, so they match the Quote page.
- The price covers taking out the drum, cleaning the inner drum and outer tub, refitting, the test run and the Up Report, our before-and-after photo record.
- Several machines at one address are done in one visit, each at its listed price; any change needs your written agreement. VAT invoices are available on request.

Motorbike-only alleys and steep stairs: reaching your machine
Many alleys here take only a motorbike and stairs are narrow and steep. The specialist parks at the alley entrance or where you suggest and carries the tools in small bags to each floor. The drum is cleaned beside the machine, never taken away.
In an estate or block with a management office, we send the specialist's name and photo for registration; waiting for that after an on-time arrival does not count as lateness.
- Stair treads and landings are covered; tools pass walls, handrails and any altar on the landing without touching them.
- For a roof-terrace machine, tell us the way up and where the nearest tap and drain are.
- In a home workshop, tell us when work pauses so that the specialist is not in the way.
How often to clean, what we promise, and booking
About every six months suits a machine used daily; one doing several loads a day for a large household, shop or workshop needs it sooner. In between, check work-clothes pockets for screws, clean the drain filter as the manual says and leave the lid ajar.
